Food ledge wider due to exit, give add'l wiggle room for feet. Seat comfortable for taller passengers.
The seat location is like grand central station in the Business Class Section. Stay away!
When you are seating at 81C, it feels like seating at Central Railway Station, too much commotion, passenger go up and down the aisle, to and from Lavatory.
48A is on the exit row. I LOVED all the extra leg room I received. No under seat storage, but because it's an exit row, it was easy for me to go back and forth to storage above the seat. Also, Air China is using the 747-8's now, which are a bit different from the 4's. Leg room for everyone else in economy is much less (my flight to PEK was in a regular seat). The good news is that economy seats now come with USB power and each their own Audio/Video touch screen system. There is an audio port with the airplane jack system, but my headset worked just fine (with both earplugs working) without an adapter.
Plane is really showing its age. First class seat was really old and AVOD was terrible. There was only a small selection of shows and games on a really small tv. However, the customer service and food was outstanding. Pajamas and a L'Occitane amenity bag was provided. Lounge at Beijing's airport lounge was really nice.
