Excellent ground service beautiful and colourful clean plane. it was low load so I was pushed back from seat 10to 32-but close to the air hostess service area. Flight was smooth- the view of the alps was just gorgeous today. Sandwiches served on the short flight were excellent panini. Best part was the wines- 3 excellent wines for economy class- a Prosecco (Bisol), White (Antinori) and a Rosso di Montalcino (Tomassi Casisano) were on offer. I hope to get back on it next time I go to Italy thru Germany
Munich to Amsterdam. A shorthaul flight which is not much different than a regular Lufthansa flight. Level of cabin service is about the same but certainly good enough. Flight attendants were friendly and attentive. They've an inflight wifi system which offers games, newspapers etc. All in all, a great experience.
After cancelled flight in May 2019 I have repeatedly try to get reimbursement, but received nothing but completely genetisk answers from the airline. This is the case whether contacting the airline by chat or by using the recommended forms supplied by the airline.
Our flight LH 9440 (JYHOOR) from Munich to Florence on the last 13th December 2019 was canceled less than 24 hours before then, according to the EU Regulation 261/2004, we had the right to economic compensation. The feedback number to my claim was assigned last 23rd December (T19329929S) but, after two months, we have had NO more feedback from Air Dolomiti. It is very frustrating that you know that you have the right for compensation and you wait for an answer from Customer-Feedback@airdolomiti.it that never arrives ... This also affects the reputation of Lufthansa that, since 2003, is the owner of Air Dolomiti. I have asked also to Lufthansa to help me with this problem with Air Dolomiti but unluckily ... Then, You will get in trouble if Air Dolomiti cancels your flight. Consider this before buying them tickets for your flights.
The best of this connected flight from Germany to Italy was when crossing over Alps, as it happened to be during daylight time (late afternoon). Nice scenic! Aircraft type they use was smaller (E195) which have only 2+2 seats in row. The second best was the professional staff in cabin (& of course also in cockpit, as it was so smooth flight). Only thing I was wondering, "why they did use this kind of Group Boarding method when I returned back from Venice (they use 4-5 separate groups when calling passengers) . They got very poor , only 6.2 passenger / per / minute as results, so boarding process was Very Slow. Perhaps they do not know any better Method? Last think I was surprised was that this airline belongs into LH Group (which I didn't knew).
Frankfurt to Verona. The plane had very nice livery and very nice design inside. Air Dolomiti colors are very nice. There was very clean inside. After boarding cabin crew gave out refreshing towels in business and economy class. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Air Dolomiti has very nice in-flight service, you can choose between cold drinks, hot drinks, beer and very good wines served in real glasses in economy and business class. There are also some biscuits and sandwiches, but it depends on the flight. IFE was also very good for such a short journey, every passenger can connect their phones to Air Dolomiti WiFi - there are information about the current aircraft position and some videos about Italy. Every travel with Air Dolomiti is travel in Italian Style. I highly recommend!
Despite the aircfraft is just a "small" Embraer 195, service on board is excellent, crew very kind and finally you can hear messages from the cockipt with clear and loud voices,
One would think it doesn't matter on such a short flight like Graz-Munich if you fly with Lufthansa or Air Dolomiti. Well it does, as Lufthansa gets worse and worse, Air Dolomit still do reasonably good on board service and food. Also their seats seem to be more comfortable than some of the newer Lufthansa ones.
Great professional service. Very attentive service even for short flights. Codeshare many flights with Lufhansa but tops their service. We were served a fresh sandwich and some lovely cookies. Soft drinks, wine and beer offered. Coffee and tea service and topped off by a nice artisan chocolate. Highly recommended.
Catania to Munich. Overall a great flight experience. The cabin crew is very attentive and the plane equipped with an excellent entertainment system that can be used with the on-board wifi on your smartphone, all included in the ticket price. Pleasant flight and great meal.
A wonderful flight with friendly crew and attentive service. Marvellous food and thoughtful touches. Spotless aircraft
I fly this route a few times per year and am always impressed with the efficiency of service. The planes are clean (some airlines such as Tunis air are NOT).
I often flight with Air Dolomiti to reach the hubs of Munich or Frankfurt and I always had pleasant experiences with them. Warm welcome, nice service, good communication, clean planes, decent sandwiches. No issues.
I went from Stockholm to Bologna with a stop in Frankfurt. From Frankfurt to Bologna we flew with Air Dolomite. My experiences from low budget airlines isn't that good but this airline was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff and they also offered snack without any costs. Nice.
No place for legs, smells bad inside the cabin, dirty everywhere and....... The edge of the left wing taped by silver tape........ Approx 40 cm long...... Amazing, very exciting experience. Sorry to say but as a Lufthansa partner Air Dolomiti is disappointing. The crew was ok, and snacks and water ok too. The rest was terrible. Sorry to say.
My flight with air dolomiti was delayed. I filled out online form. No answer. I sent reminder. No answer.
Reliable with fast and nice service. No issues. Nice snacks and drinks served at day and night flights.
Flight has been cancelled and the airline informed about that just 2 hour before departure. I've made a claim via Lufthansa (it was a shared flight operated by Air Dolomiti) and later via claim form at the Air Dolomiti homepage. LH doesn't want to handle it and no response from AD. Sad experiance. In case of flight delayes, I've got compensation from Lufthansa within a week. Air Dolomiti is 100% owned by Lufthansa, but customer service seems to be different.
Staff were polite and friendly, wet wipes were handed around for freshness at the start of the flight, the rosemary rice cake snacks were fabulous and I very much enjoyed a complimentary beverage there and back! This was included in economy light.
We were fortunate to be booked on Air Dolomiti after transferring from Luftansa out of Frankfurt as the Luftansa flight attendants had gone on strike this day and many flights were cancelled. But air Dolomiti was not affected. We were transported to the aircraft by shuttle bus then boarded our flight. Comfortable seating in economy class and friendly flight crew. We landed in Florence-Peretola Airport and were met by another shuttle bus to be transported to the terminal. There are no jetways at Florence airport. Be prepared in the rainy season
