This window seat was very close to the galley. After dinner (food was excellent) I settled down for an overnight flight. I was awoken at 11.30 and 1am by noise coming from the galley. Staff were delivering duty free and banging every door used. At 3.30am I gave up trying to sleep. When I mentioned the noise I was told both the food heating and cooling systems were very noisy! Correct. NEVER boom this seat for an overnight flight if you want to sleep. My return flight is a day flight so I don’t mind. Flat bed was very comfy, noise was only complaint. In flight entertainment needs updating, take your iPad loaded with stuff to watch.

For rows 30 thru53 (or 231 seats) there are only 4 lavatories, long lines forming during a long flight (ICN-LAX). Although one could go to the rear, it is awkward to go through the galley between row 53 and row 54.

Asiana A380 - This seat does not have the storage facility on the side (it is permanently locked), which is unique to the A380 Economy Upper Deck Cabin

Everything was great, great service, comfortable flat bed seat. The only down side was economy passengers sneaking to the business cabin to use the washroom and lounge, they stumble around in the darkened cabin after lunch/dinner service waking people up as they fiddle around with the closed curtain. The have to walk through two galleys to do this and the crew don't seem to stop them.

Nice flat bed set and great service, only downside was economy passengers sneaking into the business cabins ( there are two up stairs) when the lights are dimmed and using the facilities. They have to walk through to two galleys with closed curtains to this, the crew don't seem to stop them, they stumble around the darkened business cabin when people are sleeping and fiddle around with the closed the curtains.

On time departure. Comfortable seat with all of the electronics working. Excellent, friendly Flight crew! A true pleasure to fly this airline/airplane when on a 10+ flight. Food choices were good, with excellent preparation and service. I highly recommend this airline and configuration of this A380.

one of my favorite planes for the 30plus trips to asia, lagest bathroom of all ,set up nice designed sleeper seats

6/21/2018, seat 9K

The extra side cabinet that other ranges have is locked and cannot be used.

4/3/2018, seat 16F

The business class seat was good but could have been a bit wider.

2/9/2018, seat 82K

along the window are 2 accessible storage compartments where up to 10kg of storage can be placed. eg. small bags

1/8/2018, seat 73K

No side storage available for this seat.

1/3/2018, seat 73K

This seat window storage is not available.

Noticeably more legroom than other trans-Pacific carriers. Even with a bag under the seat ahead, legs can still stretch out completely. While eating, I did not hit the seat ahead of me even once with my knees or anything else. The seat pocket holds quite a bit of extras but never impedes one's progress to the restroom. After 12 hours of flying, no cramping or limping to the arrivals hall. A pleasant flight indeed.

8/26/2017, seat 73K

This seat's storage bins are not accessible.

OZ 203 LAX to ICN. First class, seat 1K. Unbelievably, I was the only passenger in the cabin this flight! Except for the reserve pilot who was resting in the back row. The only thing I could find to criticize is that the flight attendants' storage bins are right in front of 1F and right across from this seat, so there is occasionally chatting and banging of doors. Overall, wonderful service, great food, and a decently comfortable seat/bed.

7/31/2017, seat 82K

Nice seat. Especially the two sideboards. A lot of space and as usual with Asiana, a very nice cabine service

7/28/2017, seat 71K

Good seat. Best service. Two sidearm cabinets available for this seat. The seat itself is a little hard. That hurts after a few hours but in general there is more then enough space for even the largest person (1.84cm)

6/14/2017, seat 10A

This seat is pretty good and provide addition privacy.

5/10/2017, seat 82K

Economy class seat. This seat has two side arm boxes available. Enough space is between the rows to have a comfortable flight. The seat itself is very hard and hurts a lot after the first few hours of flight. I'm frequently flying with a lot of different aircrafts but I never had a seat that hurt that much after a few hours. Food was good as usual, Service was friendly as they always are on any Asiana Flight. Except of the seat, everything was perfect as usual. In general, I can recommend this seat

4/11/2017, seat 30A

There is a wall in front of these seats that is not shown on Asiana's own diagrams of this plane. They charge extra money for this seat but the only benefit of the seat is the extra recline the legroom is the same as other economy seats.
