The very worst international travel I have ever experienced. Actually denied water via the cabin assistant button as the host kept passing by and turning it off until I left my seat to complain. I took a photo of the host. I will not post it but was told if I was to post it things will end very badly for me. By the cabin manager. Unbelievable!!!
Booked a round trip flight was late first trip and got the round trip expired. Did let the operator know was travelling with another airline and to reserve the return trip but was ignored. Their customer service motto is if u dont bend by our rules ur ticket get burned. Poor or bad in the competition? Without debate, just choose airasia, way more dedicated and flexible. Jetstar is another flexible airline. So is Scoot. May the competition force them out of business and ignorance.
We had business Class seats booked from KL to Phnom Penh in November and Malaysian Airlines cancelled our flight and moved it to another date which we cannot fly on. I called them today and asked for a full refund They refused they said it’s not their fault it’s the fault of COVID-19 so they are not liable!! The operator was very unhelpful. On their website it states they will refund completely for any flights that are cancelled. This flight is part of a holiday that takes us to Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore and we cannot change our dates, they don’t care My advice do not book with them at all they are just hopeless and are keeping their passengers money and using Coronavirus as an excuse. Terrible Airline.
Me and my wife had travelled from Malasiyan airlines couple of times. I found out the staffs are very racists. Though, we paid the same fair, we were treated as third class. I asked a glass of water to a staff in the plane and he looked to my eyes very rudely and dropped the water deliberately overfilling it. He seemed to be very big and never smiling.I asked a glass of beer and the air hostess poured just just half full and gave it to me very rudely. For Malasiyan guy, she gave a whole can and for foreigner whites, it was cheerful and polite service. Never travelling with Malasiyan air again. I will chose singapore air from next time.
I purchased two return tickets Melbourne to London, after purchasing the tickets Malaysia Airlines (MAS) changed the flight schedule resulting in 17.5 hrs at KL airport and 1 day delay arriving in London. MAS did not offer any alternative or accomodation during the delay. Initially MAS said I was not entitled to a refund, my travel agent then advised on 31/03/20 that MAS had agreed to provide a full refund which could take up to 12 weeks. I am still waiting and now MAS refuse to give any Indication when they will process the refund except to say "there are substantial delays because of this extraordinary circumstance". If MAS means COVID-19 my refund was due because of a flight reschedule before flights were cancelled due to COVID-19. I think it is totally unacceptable for MAS to use COVID-19 as an excuse for indefinitely delaying refunds. MAS have also implied as a customer I am unreasonable by saying that 'I wish to have my refund processed right away". This is an unfair, unreasonable and unconscionable way to treat a customer as I waited patiently for 12 weeks prior to contacting the travel agent or the airline and then requested MAS to give me or my travel agent a time frame for processing my refund, MAS refuse to do this. I have submitted a complaint to MAS and had no response. I have been waiting nearly four months and still nothing. Read all the comments on Malaysia Airline Facebook webpage before you book a ticket with this airline. They seem to be experts at loosing customers, difficult to find any positive comments.
Malaysia Airlines are providing vouchers instead of refunding flights impacted by corona virus. Unfortunately MAS are stipulating you have to rebook by December and have completed flights by June 2021. This is less than 1 year now and getting less every day. Most airlines are offering 1 year from original flight dates, some are 2 years.
Give me back my money!! Give me back my money!! My credit card is charged but no booking ticket! I’ve called multiple times but there’s no escalation whatsoever. PEOPLE, DO NOT BUY FROM MALAYSIA AIRLINES! #izhamismail #malaysiaairlines Malaysia Airlines
Excellent boarding process, economy class seats were comfortable with huge amounts of leg room (behind the divider or the door). Great source of entertainment with a large screen which is responsive. For a 7 hour plus flight, they gave out so many snacks ranging from Japanese style to Malaysian style. For food and beverages it would be a 5 star. Landing wise was average a little on the hard side.
I’ve recently had two flights cancelled with Malaysian Airlines with no prospect of another flight anytime soon. On top of this I was lied to about the insurance I purchased from Malaysian Airlines. I was advised my insurance would cover me for any cancellation and I would be reimbursed after a short waiting period. In reality my flight got cancelled by Malaysian airlines and was only offered a credit for my lost flight. I was told I would be reimbursed only if the pilots had got on strike. This flight cost 2000 dollars one way. I feel so utterly disgusted and cheated. It’s my second bad experience with this airline and I would never recommend it to absolutely anybody. These people are quite willing to exploit people’s trust. Don’t trust them at all. Disgraceful.
The most hopeless customer service on the face of the earth, no wonder they are capable of loosing entire planes. could not help with anything, required a refund after waiting 3 months for it to be processed, still no hope of it .
Malaysian airlines after multiple changes to our tickets, has finally cancelled the flight & I am refused a cash refund. All that is being offered is a evoucher which is not good enough. No one know when the travel restrictions are going to be lifted. Clearly when there is no service provided, the money should be refunded. Specially here where the airline has cancelled the flights, I am demanding my money be refunded.
Worst Airline Ever. They changed the schedule charging you a fee, and canceled flight charging you a fee. When I asked of an alternative flight schedule, and what I heard is the schedule after two months. I should have booked my countries flight, and no I didn't, just to save 700 rm. Now I have to pay 400 rm for this one-sided cancellation. When I complained, what I heard from the staff over the line whose name is IMI, is to sue their country. "If you have that complaint, sue Malaysia!" Thier Allah must teach them how to cheat people, lure people, make them book, and notice a cancellation without option but for 400 RM. Doing nothing they could easily earn 400 rm from 200 people with a ticket there. Don't say it is inevitable, cuz I booked my ticket using Daihan Airline, coming back to my home.
Airline cancelled flight, refuses to refund any money and is offering to rebook tickets at twice the price (equivalent dates). It is cheaper to buy a brand new ticket elsewhere.
I have traveled in many airlines but this is by far one of the worst. Malaysian Airlines is pretty popular airlines if you are travelling any where in SEA you will find this option. But their customer service is totally horrible. Right from the start of booking a flight till getting your baggage out from the airlines its the worst I have ever seen. There are far cheaper options available with better services than this airlines. I even once lost my transit flight because I could not get any information from their website, online services, email or even by call. I would suggest no one to travel via this airlines at all.
We manage to snap this very cheap deal on Malaysia Airlines almost 7 months before our trip. So of course we got ourselves to the airport and enjoy ourselves before our flight. And we kinda ate a little too much on the ground, and we were so stuffed after the dinner service on the plane. PS- thank you to all the crew on MH386 for the birthday card! You guys just know how to make my special trip a little more special. RETURN FLIGHT MH389 PVG - KUL Flying back to KL with Malaysia Airlines. This time on an Airbus A330-300. I personally prefer this aircraft more than the A330-200. Seats are way more comfortable and the best part is, you have your personal air vents. Because of the A300-200 didn’t have it, it makes sleeping during our trip to Shanghai a little tougher. We’ve chosen to use Cathay Pacific’s Lounge which is located at Terminal 2 instead of the newly opened China Eastern Lounge, managed by Plaza Premium at the Satellite Terminal. And boy we are glad that we did. Cathay Pacific really knows how to keep their guest coming back for more. Totally worth it for all oneworld frequent flyers who wanted a better product. Do however plan your time properly, as it takes some time to get to the satellite terminal from the main terminal building. We got the throne seats for this trip. I love how much storage space you’ll get. Privacy is better with the configuration, crews are wonderful as usual. And the best part of the flight is still the satay! The food was not bad, and I still manage to get some shut eye. I do strongly recommend the A330-300 over the A330-200. The seats are way more comfortable in my opinion compared to the 200series.
Flight was cancelled which is understandable, however airline is refusing a refund and are offering me the opportunity to rebook at twice the price of the original ticket value. There is nothing I can do, they are ransoming my money. It is cheaper to book a brand new ticket elsewhere. Check out the various reviews this airline has become morally bankrupt. Other airlines are taking a different path so please do not use this airline or you will regret it.
The service is good. The food is good. Also the cabin crew is helpful. The seats is comfortable. Kuala Lumpur Airport is nice. Overall, the service of Malaysia airlines is very excellent and it is reccomended to fly with this airlines
I have always been neutral towards Malaysian Airlines til one time i travel to Japan from Melbourne and there is this one flight attendant who was being a bully. I asked him if the airline has pinneaple juice. Then he asked me back,"Give me 1 airline name that has pinneaple juice." I think this is such a bully and i wanted to report it to the customer service so many times. I finally found an airline that serves pinneaple juice btw, its a finn airline. I really dont appreciate Malaysian Airlines' flight attendants attitude.
Flight was slightly ahead of schedule. On boarding, as the right engine's turbine had been turned off, there was still a small amount of cold air coming out of the air con vent but that didn't matter as it was a cloudy day and therefore not hot. But once thd turbine started the air con vents worked like a treat! Inflight service was the usual for a 40-min short hop: 2 packets of peanuts and a cup of prepoured juice. As we reached Tawau there were heavy clouds but the ATR 72 didn't seem to be prone to any serious turbulence!
Was assigned a seat in row 17, which together with row 18 used to be in the Business Class section of MASWings' ATR 72. All they have done on abolishing C Class was remove the cabin divider and curtain, and so my seat had what looked to be a generous 35 inch pitch! Surprisingly in this age of social distancing the rear of the plane was oddly crowded (and I had someone in the seat next to me) while the middle section was almost empty! MAS should proactively try to encourage passengers to change seats to more evenly distribute everyone especially given the need for social distancing. Overall a good flight (especially after changing seats to avoid the overcrowded rear), and it was slightly ahead of schedule.
