There were only 3 passengers in the premium economy section during the flight. That was the first time my wife and I travelled to Melbourne occupying the premium economy. It's worth it considering that the pandemic covid 19 is ongoing and very few passengers with us the whole flight.
I will never fly this airline again, First time was in 1999, delayed of course, and this is my second time, delayed agin coming to Manila. I don’t know why my wife booked us with this airline, I wanted EVA airline. coming back home, I told the lady to make sure we sit together and she separated us. F..k this airline. Never ever again. Smh
This was my first flight with Philippine airlines and I was very impressed. The flight was amazing. Service was of high standard very friendly staff and always smiling. Good selection of entertainment eg movies. Food was great. Leg space very good and will recommend and happy to fly Philippine Airline Anytime.
Check in good on time. Aircraft clean. Seats in economy some of the worst i have experienced in Asia akin to sitting on a park bench for 8 hours. Seat pitch reasonable. Food average. Service adequate but cabin best described as stoich. A disappointing flight overall
If traveling business class best for seat access is all odd number seats. Almost impossible to get in and out of the even number seats and am not a large person.
HKG-MNL in Economy class. Was looking forward to getting the 2-4-2 version. But disappointment came quick after sitting down there. Seat pitch is very very "filipino style", meaning, nothing for 6 foot tall or taller people. The short flight was enough to me and I was happy to get out of this cabin. I don´t consider PAL for longer routes on the A330. Sadly, because the service, food and IFE is very well. But why, PAL, have you gone for those old fashion seats when doing a new cabin? Please don´t use those seats also in your A350.
Avoid 51A and 51K on the exist seats. There are huge bulk in front of the seats which limit to place your legs.
The seat is comfortable and spacious. And big legroom! Really worth youre money.
Very Modern Business Class which was a step up from videos seen on YouTube. Great use of space with the latest designs meaning little touches like 3 point seat straps. Staff great and really the negatives are minor such as a lack of amenity bags. Food choice was extensive and drink choice of great levels
This configuration is the 2017 and onwards refurbishment. Excellent seat design, very comfortable lie flat bed that is even wider than some airline competitors. Staff service was attentive and my name was used. Food good, and even served a refrehing drink upon boarding. I enjoyed some time sleeping. This aircraft is a huge improvement for PR and is now on the Honolulu, Melbourne and Sydney routes and sometimes to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore plus Cebu and Davao on occasion.
