Great economy seats on upper deck no one behind you except jump seat . 2 seats together with cupboard space beside seat Highly recommend
The A380 performed perfectly. The crew was great in all respects. The food was lousy. It was an 8am flight so my choice was the asparagus omelet. Yuk eggs and asparagus and that was it no cheese no flavor. The fruit looked good but was not ripe. The rolls were fresh but they don’t know how to make good coffee.
I was in this seat for 12 hours and I was very uncomfortable. The leg rest is off centre so you cannot put your legs up comfortably. Also there is a bar straight through the middle so the leg rest doesn't even fold all the way down and you can't store your bag underneath the seat in front of you. I was not a happy bunny!
Thai service was as expected. No complaints. However, the seat in front of this seat has a metal box attached to the seat support which limits the legroom. I am 1.85m and it was very uncomfortable. I would avoid this seat if you are tall.
Great seat with normal recline without bothering anyone. Galley and lavatory noise is on average level.
The biggest aircraft I have ever flown on and I felt a little apprehensive, no need though. It was the most comfortable experience flying I have had. The crew were attentive and helpful, the food eatable. I saw three films so the time went fairly quickly.. we went with friends and we’re able to sit together this was a plus. The toilets were cleaned regularly by the crew, something I have never seen before. All in all a very good experience.
Upper deck emergency exit seat, arranged 2 4 2, loads of leg room, only one person on the side seats.
Great seat although could hear the toilet flushing at times. Don't do the row behind.
The best economy seat I've ever flown. 2-4-2 setup and plenty of room between the seat and the bulkhead means plenty of legroom and easy time to get to the aisle. Upper deck is noticeably quieter than lower deck. No kids/babies in this section also makes for a quieter flight. Two side cabinets next to the window for you put your things for easy access. My only complaint is that the IFE screen is too small for how far it is from the seat.
Thai obviously reserve these upper deck window seats for people who have bought an econ seat at in one of the higher class groups. But well worth paying the difference. Some of the only 'twosomes' on the 380, and with an extra little cabinet for small items below the window. row 76 comes with heaps of legroom. After some recent flights squeezed like sardines in a 777 or 787, this was a pleasant change
This is an economy seat but on the upper deck and it is great. In a bank of only 2 seats and aircrew jumpseat behind so no issues reclining or with people pulling on your seat. Very quiet and exclusive economy cabin. Pre-ordered vegetarian food Thai food was great and service very good. I pushed button to ask for water and cabin crew anticipated my request bringing water on first visit
Qualité en baisse d'année en année. Moins de place sur le A380 que sur les 747 Nourriture médiocre. Plus de menu carte.
Very good seat. You need to be sufficiently physically fit, as in case of an accident it's your job to open the door.
Seat 12A is affected by the galley and make it a little noisy and smelly. Also as your feet are into the wall to the lavatory you hear sometimes the flush. Thai Royal Orchid Service is standard. Meals are served dish by dish. But an my flight I would ask for wine or other dink for mealserivce. I get my first choice after bording the whole flight. Also all business guest get the same dessert. There was no choice acc. menu.
Seat extremely comfortable. No noise from the toilet as indicated might be a problem and first class was full as well. Service fine, meals so so. Good sleep arrived refreshed.
for 81A,i like the view altrough it's already night.for 80A,C,79D,E,F,G,80J,K,hotseat is bad.no floor storage for my ANA 787 gift from japan, but in row 81,,and in some other row,i like the storage box like in other a380s AVG.Score=9/10.Very well
I find it very comfatable and very quiet quiet compared to a 747 jumbo would love to fly in top deck
I enjoyed the flight until the person in front of me crushed my legs due to know notice at all and pushed there seat back to the full incline. Then could not watch the tv at all as I basically had the screen in my face. Really not acceptable.
Lots of recline, no person behind you. Noise from Toilet was ok, I would immediately sit here again.
My 12th visit to Thailand, and my first and very definitely last time with Thai airways. On a journey that lasted almost 14 hours through a re route, I almost came to blows with the passenger in front of me who spend about 10 hours continually pushing his seat back into me in the hope that he could gain another inch of pitch. The fact that the IFE screen was almost touching my nose because of his recline contributed to the worst rvrt flight in my life. Add bland food, and a rubbish selection of in flight entertainment, much more expensive than comparable airlines, and never again Thai airways.
