Was on G-TAWI MAN-RHO 10/08/19, didn't pay as was moved up from 17C&D as no one was sat in the emergency exit row which someone must do for takeoff and landing. Very spacious seat, extra legroom worth it and nice view of wing from (sort of) 2 windows. Only ruined by someone coming and sitting on the end (16D) as we had 16E&F and my mother had picked an aisle seat specifically as she is not so mobile, therefore our advice is to put a bag on the end or one of the 2 of you sit on the end seat to stop someone doing this. Rude when they didn't even ask, they just plonked! Good seat regardless.
the seat did have a missing window but the seats do recline
A brilliant seat very spacious and has 2 windows
paid extra for a window seat..which had no window!! awful seat no view . I think it should be made clear that this seat ,although next too window ,the window is blocked out, and you should not have an extra cost to sit here. ....
Flight 2560 I was G-TAWM, usally based at Gatwick and was lucky to be on it and was NG with tvs on aircraft. Seat 2D has great legroom compared to other seats. The toioet was near but didnt bother me, as there was only max 2 people or 3 people waiting at ome time, which is TUIs rule for the front. The armrest is really good with the traytable inside. I liked this feature. Recommend this seat, i automatically got this seat for online check in free. Recommend TUIs 737NG Aircraft.
we had extra legroom which is definitely worth the extra money. small plane and no telly for 5 hr flight to egypt so worth taking an ipad
Awful seat!Very clostrophobic in my opinion. Thought we had a window seat but it was a blank wall and like being in a cupboard! Very disapointed Mr Tui. Got put in 12F for return flight !! This looks just as bad ! Managed to contact Tui and had to pay £14 for 7E and F so hope it's going to be ok? AVOID THESE SEATS IS MY ADVICE
Thomson advertise that all seats on Boeing 737 do not recline, yet the seat in front of me reclined by around 5 inches making a very small seating area even smaller. Also the cabin crew whilst checking the seat belts on take off and landing made no attempt to have the extreemly large man put his seat in the upright position. It's a long way from Paphos to London Gatwick with a seat virtualy in your face for the entire flight. Shame on the Thomson cabin crew who only seemed Interested in selling food and drinks
The seat base differs between aircraft for these emergency access seats. Some have standard cushion size others ard shortened and do not give as much support under the leg. Also some do not have net storage on back of seat so limited space for belongings. There is extra space between rows but at the cost of some other comforts.
Seats 30 abc have no overhead locker , it's used to store some equipment.Having your hand luggage on the floor reduces legroom which became very uncomfortable on a 3.5 hr flight to Funchal. On the return flight they ran out of food & the crew solicited complaints, sggesting tha this was a regular occurance, The company web site did not work.
May 2017 flew from doncaster to Heraklion on Thomson 737 800. Agree with comments seat 11A has no window and seats 12A and 12F only have a very limited partial window view. Didnt matter much on return flight as it was nighttime. Would not recommend any of these seats at all
Thomson took my money for a non existent window seat. Despite me asking several members of staff in the Uk and in the resort all they would say was , and i quote, '... It should be a window seat but it isn't - this is basic fraud in my opinion
Thoroughly awful. Ive flown over a hundred times in recent years and this was 2nd worst. Im 5 feet 8 and my knees were pressing into the magasibe rack. The guy next to me was taller and had to angle his legs over to my space and the window seat space just to fit in. The guy behind me tried to store a plastic bottle in tne magazibe space and tbe seat padding was so thin it felt like it was tucked into my trousers! No way should this plane be allowed on longer flights.
Amazing seat very quiet and a good view of the wing. Okay leg room but what do you expect from airlines.
Even though this is an exrta legroom seat the window pillar restricted shoulder width. I am a 6'2" rugby player so not the most comfortable seating position.
on flghts to Egypt an extra legroom seat is a must its a long flight with no music or entertainment and without extra legroom it is very confined
Thomson have fitted ghastly Recaro seats to some of their 737-800 fleet. These seats are thin and there is no storage space. The reason? Increased profits since they can install an additional row or two. Customer comfort is of no interest. A thoroughly unpleasant experience.
Unbelievably no window In 11a. 12a had half a window. 11f had a window.
i liked sitting in this eat goood view for [people film the flights like i do. grate engine sound on takeoff aprach and landing. if you want to see this seat view look on my youtibe chanel link below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESG96b46WHs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtVx_a0TViY
