Your advice says to avoid this seat because of activity going on behind but I have to disagree. This is probably the best seat because there is only someone on 1 side of you instead of 2.

Nice seat with the exception of the IFR. Was worth the extra $ to upgrade from economy. Service was good and staff friendly. Helped that plane was half full on the flight from BOS to LHR

2/28/2020, seat 3G

Whoever designed this seat was NOT an engineer. It took the staff to make it into a bed and complete the reverse into a seat. The whole Upper Class cabin is too open and intrusive. It will be a long time before I pay good money to travel in this aircraft again. The seats bear no relationship to their nomenclature if you want to travel with your partner. 3G is opposite 2J !

Seat was comfortable and operational. Small amount of movement from wear but nothing bad. IFE was extremely frustrating to use.

An incredible flight to and from. I almost wish I can find a fault ! To say I prefer a seat that looks directly forward would be trivial in the extreme. The Cabin Crew were the best I have ever experienced , the food well, that was perfect although small one could always have seconds ! LHR Lounge was unbeatable and with staff to match . Faultless ! Am flying again in less than 2 weeks with you of course.

The A330s are dated now compared with the newer Dreamliner and excellent A350. The touch screen is frustratingly unresponsive and on the small side. Entertainment is limited with few new releases. Virgin need to modernise their fleet if they want to keep up with the likes of Qatar. On the positive side I like the 2-4-2 configuration feels more spacious than the 3-3-3 configuration of other planes, and nice to have the option to sit in a block of two seats.

LHR-ATL Our first time on VA Airbus 330 and probably our last. In a real tour de force of bad seat engineering, these seats managed to be more cramped, unprivate and uncomfortable than any other major airlines business class seats we have flown on in ten years. The walls of each seat space are very narrow and confining, feet stick out into the aisle, and there is no storage space for personal items. It was a day time flight, so no comment on sleep possibilities other than speculation it would be miserable with one's feet hanging in the aisle to be constantly bumped and with the narrow walls closing in. The seat misery was partially mitigated by above average cabin attendants and rather good food and beverage.

The staff did a fine job but this was a seriously uncomfortable seat and the amenities sparse. Ouch.

12/9/2019, seat 7A

The cabin was relatively small but perfect. The crew were very professional and attentive. The food was impeccable. It was worth paying that extra bit to travel in comfort and enjoy the extensive entertainment provided. The seats are wide and comfortable. All in all a very enjoyable flight.

10/24/2019, seat 43G

The seats are hard. The pitch is not good. I am 5ft 4in and the leg room just alright for me. 43G is not bothered by noise from the toilets. However, due to the isles being narrow - just wide enough for the trolley, my seat was nicked at least four times by trolley. Too many economy seats have been put in making it an uncomfortable experience.

Tried ++ times to bk premium econ, quoted £721.00 went to pay told 1700.00 then 2930.00 pp round trip, tried at airport £295 !! Only 1 seat available , not good when 2 of us travelling....ended up just economy...gutted...poor service from newmarket travel agents n virgin

4/3/2019, seat 5G

Very nice comfortable seat with lots of useful storage space. Bed is comfortable but a bit cramped if over 6ft. USB charger is useful and reliable.

1/9/2019, seat 20A

Old plane and very disappointing, felt like economy seats, touch screens hit and miss and could not watch the latest Jack Black film due to the sound being garbled, Tui premium much much better!

11/17/2018, seat 5K

Great service, especially with the separate check-in at LHR. Helpful and kind cabin crew and enjoyed the food very much. Don't much care for this type of seat layout, where all seats face the aisle. A lack of privacy meant that I spent the whole journey looking at the feet of the person in the next seat. I had a window seat, but couldn't see out of the window without craning my neck backwards. Much prefer Qatar, Singapore and Etihad Business class layout. Virgin's smacks of jamming in as many seats as possible, which shouldn't happen when you've paid for a business class service.

Ugh!! Paid for premium economy and got economy delight which was not very delightful. Awful seats with passengers constantly using the area in front of us as a freeway. Our flight home (same seats) had the most unprofessional crew ever. They were more interested in talking to each other than taking care of the paying passengers who make sure they have a job. I have flown VA at least a dozen times and this time they really dropped the ball.

I flew Virgin Atlantic (Economy Delight), a few days ago to New York for a city break. I chose Economy Delight as I wanted a break from queing and I wanted to strech more during the flight. The economy delight experience was fantastic defintely worth the upgradre from Economy Delight, the legroom was great, I recieved 150% more miles and I had priority boarding and check-in which was well worth it. The food on this flight was typical economy not the wow-factor but not bad, a satisfactory meal. The service on this flight was very good, I definately think that Virgin crew are one of the best out there, (Turkish Airlines should be taking notes). The entertainment was excellent a wide selection of movies for all genres.

9/20/2018, seat 51B

I booked my seat well in advance to get a good seat. the legroom was great and I was very comfortable. Even I was sitting in Economy it was brilliant. Thank you.

9/11/2018, seat 50A

Our flight experience was amazing. Christine our hostess was very attentive and extremely accommodating and gave us some good tips for Dubai. My husband was a little bit disappointed as when we checked in he asked for a bottle of champagne for plane journey as our trip was to celebrate my 50th birthday and our wedding anniversary but we never had or got offered a bottle

6/24/2018, seat 25K

Seat contacts bulkhead when reclining, appears to slightly limit recline in 25H and 25K.

5/21/2018, seat 59C

Due to the narrowing of the cabin, seat has a strange angle which results in limited legroom (especially for the left leg). Not comfortable to sit at - avoid! 59A and 59K have more legroom than usual however.
