Legroom seemed to be the smallest I can remember on any domestic Australian flight - knees virtually touching seat in front while sitting upright/normally.
Great seats although missing the arm on aisle is a bit awkward.
Up against a bulkhead I was concerned about leg room. It was a little restricted but better than behind another seat reclining into me. I could stretch my right leg out into the aisle next to the Lav which was handy. There is only USB power under this seat but 10A had a international power socket. Overall good spot making for an easy exit without waiting
Legroom is good for average sized people; it is easy to stretch out under the seat ahead. Seat back entertainment system is good but the touch screen was a bit dodgy. This seat is actually ahead of the wing but the view is still slightly impeded by the engine. Service was excellent. TIP: on transcontinental daytime flights, sit on the south side of the plane (seats A & C westbound, seats H & K eastbound) if you want to enjoy the view but don't want to be blinded by the sun.
I don't think there is a bad seat in Business class. 3K was excellent. Good comfortable sleep on the overnight flight. Only tiny drawback was being near the front of the plane, then tendency was to use the front toilet located forward of the galley on Row A side of the plane - which meant traversing the galley where the cabin crew (who by the way were terrific) were often busy.
Middle row seats are misaligned to the seats in front
Originally seated in 10K Bulkhead Window for takeoff but as plane was almost empty I managed to stretch out over four centre seats and with extra blankets & pillows enjoyed a good 7 hours sleep. Note the missing window is between rows 13 & 14
Great seats. Definitely one of the better business class seats going around. The design of the seat itself along with the staggering of the rows makes them nice and private. Fully flat with turndown service provided.
Rows 10 and 28 are bulkhead seats that offer LESS LEGROOM THAN NORMAL ECONOMY
Was generally good. However the leg-room wasn't as generous.
Everything about this seat was great. I only had to climb over one person to get out, legroom was great (I'm 5'11), a USB outlet so I could charge my phone, and entertainment was great.
excellent seat as are all the seats in business class - total privacy - food is superb - service outstanding - must be the best business class on offer in Australia if not the world
By Far the best business class on any airline i have ever been on you get your own pod with a fully flat 2 meter bed/chair a very big IFE screen with state of the art noise canceling headphones. it also offers some of the best airline food in the world. Compared to this Qantas's business class is nothing.Honestly offers the best business class in the world if you ask me. I
The Virgin Australia business class cabin with B/E Aerospace Super Diamond seats are outstanding seats. Having flown most types of premium seats these continually impress me. Qatar, Air Canada, China Airlines and now American are installing these. You can't pick a bad seat in the front cabin of the A330, all are private yet the center seats have a nifty divider allowing for couples to see and speak to each other. Beyond the seat the VA food was incredible. Flying from Perth to Melbourne they served a full 3 course meal where the starter would have been the main on most airlines. (and it was better too) I flew Qantas to Perth. VA beat QF in all comparisons, and it wasn't close. What a great airline.
Amazing seat/suite, by far the best Australian domestic business class product (in fact, I will add, the best business class product I've ever experienced!). So spacious, well designed, very cosy when in bed mode, large entertainment screen...coupled with excellent dining and on-board service. What more could one ask for?!
With a pitch of 31 and the design of their seats,it is impossible to put your legs under the seat infront. I am 6ft 1.tall and have no problem with same pitch on other alrlines.
I sat in row 13A on a recent flight and had an unrestricted view. The wing started behind me - I assume level to row 15. It was a really new aircraft, with comfortable seats, good food and a good personal entertainment.
The seat was great, big enough for me to fit comfortably and I am rather tall. The in-flight entertainment was very good, however the headphone plug wasn't quite working right and I could only get sound from one side. Aside from that everything was fine.
