I was very please with the staff and how quickly we got to board the plane.
Best economy seat on the aircraft! Only 2 seats wide and plenty of legroom and a window view. Well worth the extra!
For a. Short 1 hour flight it was fine . Impressed with the leg room. Cabin Crew were friendly and helpful. Easy to disembark. The landing was the best of all 4 flights we were on for the 5 days we were away. F100 was the last leg of our trip.
Heaps of legroom, but window alignment is poor for this seat as is overhead ventilation controls. I sat in 4A for the return journey and it was better in both regards. Seats were comfortable enough. Service was great, as always.
Seats 1A and 1B have very limited leg room due to the bulkhead. Regular seats have more leg room and are more comfortable. The front rows are much quieter since the engines are mounted at the rear of the fuselage.
Well, let me start by saying I booked and had a confirmed 1E booking. Then received a booking advice for row 11. Then received a message that instead of a 7a.m departure, it would be 11.40 a.m. I booked Qantas to get me home.
Plenty of legroom and was able to stretch out. If wanting to look out the window though not easy have to lean forward. But enjoyable and comfortable rude up to Broome from Perth
Hostess was amazing, professional and lovely. I have done hostess training and would love a position with Virgin. My return journey , 20g, no leg room , no reclining however same hostess so happy with service.
There is no traytable in the armrest as this site proclaims but it is indeed QUITE small and comes out of the seat in front like most aircraft even in emergency rows as this one is. spacious cabin and even the toilet was huge but was quite OLD fashioned. i mean its a 25 year old plane but damn haha. should NOT be used on 3 hour legs but for 1-2 hours could be okay. interior cabin was actually quieter than i anticipated it to be.
It was a 2-3 h flight and compared to Qantas or all other aeroplanes of Virgin Australia, the VA Fokker 100 offers a great amount of legroom. The service was average although the drink selesction was pretty basic. Softdrinks were for a fee and the Food wasn't very tasty. Qantas has a much larger variety of drinks. There are a few screens on the ceiling with advertisement for Entertainment. But overall, it was okay for a couple of hours.
Excellent seat Rear of plane considerably louder due to rear mounted engines
