Reseñas
This seat had more legroom than the other seats, as it was also the first of the pair seats.
Flew TS110 and TS111 to and from Paris this week. On the way there flew 48A and on the way back 21C. - TS110 Montreal - Paris--48A is excellent choice. I normally don't pick window seats but wanted to put all odds on my side to sleep and was able to in this seat. Slightly wider seat than where it is in 3-3-3 seating. BONUS in Paris CDG Terminal 3 deplaning is via stairs and they open up the back of the plain so was one of the first to deplane. - Paris CDG -> YUL... seat 21C. Took aisle to have some 'breathing room' but ended up having less space than I did when I took the 48A window seat. Only redeeming feature of this seat is that it is very quick to deplane and since Transat board basically everyone at the same time, even if you are a Zone 5 its not painful to get on either. But yeah, for an 8 hour flight back home this was just about the most ordinary seat you could ever imagine.
Is it me or are seats lower than usual in this airplane (or place under seat less high)? I wanted to lie down and I did not know where to put my legs. I had a flight with Air Transat a couple week before in a a330-200 according to my ticket. This previous aircraft did not have a screen but I did not feel so incomfortable.
My flight was London to Vancouver. I was surprised to find how much leg room I had. I have a 31 inch inside leg and there was at least 6 to 8 inches between my knees and the seat in front. The seat width may be a tiny bit less than other flight operators but at least I could stretch my legs right out in front. Even if the seat in front reclined it did not intrude too much into my space. Overall I would recommend this above other flight operators. Only negative was the food was not great so buy before you fly.
Our whole family went from Barcelona to Montréal. Three of us were sat in seats 37A, 37B and 37C. Surprisingly, I disagree with most comments on this forum as my seat was really amazing. For the extra price paid, it's really worth the money. The emergency door isn't at all a problem and we all had a lot of space of legs. Basically, you can lay down as much as in any bed (however, without matress lol). Food was ok, as every company anyway and the individual screens pretty brilliant. Great job and highly recommended for the quality of the seats! As for the width, we didn't notice they were "narrower" than usual, as most comments pointed out here...
the 2nd row club class seats are really not worth the extra cost. the seats are wider and there is more legroom, but they are really cramped when a 1st row seat is reclined. A better and far cheaper option is row 3. far more Legroom and way cheaper. If you are a couple, book one seat on the window and one seat in the aisle and hope no one wants the middle seat.
club class wider seat, more leg room then economy.Priority seating row 3 is better. seats are not as wide but more leg room. The added cost for club class seats in 2nd row is debateable
2k, club class wider seat, more leg room then economy. When 1st row seat is reclined, getting out of this seat is difficult. Priority seating row 3 is better. seats are not as wide but more leg room. The added cost for club class seats in 2nd row is debateable
Seats cramped. Airplaine very noisy at rear. Food horrible. IFE correct, staff OK.
Air Transat's Club Class seats are significantly inferior to most major carriers' Business Class. In fact, they are just a bit better than an average Premium Economy class. In addition, there is no bulkhead separating the class sections (except in the middle section behind seats 2D and 2G) making the Club Class section just as noisy as Economy. All in all, not really worth double the airfare price (YYZ-ATH-YYZ).
These seats slide forward for "reclining" rather than the seat back moving down, so it reduces the amount of legroom to the bulkhead - not condusive to stretching out. I am only 170cm tall, and struggled to get comfortable unless the seatback was completely upright. Also to note that the galley is immediately in front that also serves part of economy, so on our particular overnight flight we were constantly woken up by trolleys crashing around, container doors being slammed, and the cabin crew having a loud conversation during a lull in service.
I flew with this plane from Paris to Montreal and it was very comfortable by windows. 2-4-2 seat option was better than 3-3-3 which was on the returning flight to Prague. Entertaining system was full of movies tv shows and music. There was also USB plug so you could charge your phone or tablet. Space for legs was very good. Meal was enjoyable.
This seat is not that bad ! You can incline your seat without bother someone in your back and you can put your coat on the seat. Absolutely no sound from the lavatories
I flew the same plane on the way in in 43H and found that this seat was superior. There is room to recline between the seat and the bulkhead and it felt roomier and more private. I found there wasn't any extra traffic due to the lavatory. The only drawback is that you're the last to deplane.
