NONE in Row 12 recline because of the Emergency Row(s) behind. Stss inormed me just prior to TOD that they can ‘Unlock’ the seats in that Row. My fault in that I did not check Seatguru, but even if I had checked there is no WARNING about Row 12
Common seat
Was excellent but the price was dear
I flew Virgin Australia, on Thursday 14th November. Flight Number 168. 16:00pm. Great seat, the Crew were wonderful and very polite, helpful etc. The food was fine no complaints at all. On the way Home I flew Monday 18th November. The departure was a hour late. Which was no big deal to me. I got upgraded to EcomonyX seat 4C that was a nice surprise. Crew were great again and the service was very good. Overall I would recommend this Airline to family and friends. Thanks Michelle Round.
We were given these seats for a half empty flight out of Queenstown (yes, the most scenic etc etc). What plane has a row with no window at all? I felt the crew could have offered some sort of recognition, sympathy or acknowledgment that these were bad seats, but there was nothing.
Most seats have a full window and maybe a little of a second window. This seat only has most of a single window which turns into half a window when the seat in front reclines
Row 14 every time if I can, unlike row 13 all the seats in row 14 recline! Good legroom and a window view. Well worth the little bit extra to get a good perch for the flight and not be boxed in with the rest of cattle class
4 hours of pain from Perth to Brisbane. Food tray in armrest means no room to move at all with no inflight seat entertainment to distract. Big 193cm guy beside me encroached on my area. Flew to Perth in a Virgin A330 on way over was an absolutely perfect flight. 737 not up to longer haul flights at all.
I flew this flight from Sydney to Perth. Great leg room and comfortable flight but be aware that this seat does not recline. I didn't have a problem with toilet queues as other reviews have mentioned. Great service from the Virgin staff as always!
Really pleasant flight the purple mood lighting really helped me relax into my chair very good legroom and width for a 3 and a half hour long flight
Not only does this seat protrude into the aisle due to the curvature of the fuselage, but it (and seat 29C/D) is actually narrower than the other normal economy seats - compare the back of the seat to the one next to it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Minimum legroom / pitch is 34 inches in rows 4 &5.
One of the quickest flights on this aircraft, the crew still managed to do a full meal service. Very spacious seats for a domestic flight. Row 1 has better recline and better space than row 2. It's also easier for window seat guests to get out than row 2. Row is more private, if that's important.
There is very little room as the seats are narrow and I am only 72KGs.Heaven help anyone who is large. Only 2 toilets for all economy passengers meant there was constant queues and not particularly clean. Food was ordinary. Not a particularly pleasant or comfortable flight.May have to try the competition next time.
I sat in row 19 and the seat pitch for a 186cm man had my knees buried in the seat in front. I have an issue with the half hearted attempted by a supposed "full service airline" at providing a meal on board. A small chocolate bar and a cup of coffee that might have looked the right colour but had no flavour. Virgin Australia obviously has no idea what being a "full service airline" means......
Seat has good legroom, BUT the tray is stowed beside the seat. This makes the seat most suitable for narrow passengers. It would be uncomfortable for wider passengers
In front of exit row. Flight attendants dont unlock recline after take off for this row.
Row 14 is where it is at. All the rookies complaining about row 13 not reclining - der fred! It is an emergency exit row!! Small sacrifice to not wear over ear earphones on take off and landing.. big woop. Oh, and to the whiners from row 13 - guess what - row 14 reclines! Heaps of leg room, rarely anyone next to you as it is a premium product (you pay more for it). I book this seat erry time I fly (which is twice weekly). Not a bad perch.
Disappointing to have the surprise of no window when travelling with a child who is looking forward to seeing out the window. Aircraft is generally tired and old.
This plane should not be used for Perth to Sydney flights too cramped front tioletet locled off for 8 business Clas guys, balance had to use 2 loos down the back. Food very average, looking for different airline next time sorry guys. You have turned a good airline into a cheap European one
