Sitzplan Boeing 737-800 (738) v1 China Airlines

Outdated aircraft, not suitable for a flight longer than 2 hours

I flew many times on this flight and in every class. It is not an old plane but one of the worst I have been flying. You do not have enough space and it is clearly a plane for short haul. In eco there is not even a TV and I only flew it because it is the only direct flight between those 2 destinations. I find this -always late - flight so unconfortable and so unpleasant that I decided to replace it with another flight thru Hong Kong, it is much longer but after all much better for me. Business Class is very standard, nothing great to say except that food is not great neither.

For this short flight (only about 1.5 hour), it was actually better than I travelled with China Airlines a few years ago and also I imagined. The legroom is a little bit small. But what actually is really poor is the food. I hated that. It was disgusting.

The seat itself, was very uncomfortable. The legrest was too far from the seat and there was no IFE. I had a very uncomfortable sleep and flew TPE-BKK and my flight from NRT-TPE had been on 747-400 and it was awesome. The food was still the standard and was served on time. I will never fly on the 737 again.

This is a standard business class seat with ample leg space and a very nice width. There is no IFE in the seat, although the showed a movie on the small monitor in the front. Service was very personal (was greeted by my name) and the food good. There are no power or USB connectors though.

This is a good plane but very bad seating for a long flight.For 4 hours flight from Taipei at almost midnight was something unimaginable BAD.
