no storage in front of the seat during takeoff and landing.

I flew on the upper deck of the 747-8i from Atlanta to Seoul/incheon. The Prestige Class seats are Apex Suites, one of the best business-class seats in the sky. Korean Air also uses them on some 777-300s and the A33-300. Apex Suites have no door but the window seats have more privacy than a Delta One business-class suite with a door. Window suites are separated from the aisle by the adjacent aisle seat and a short passageway leading to the aisle. Window suites have also have more and storage than aisle suites because of large storage lockers next to the fuselage. The best thing about all Apex suites is your feet and lower legs are not shoved into a tight tube under the console of the seat in front. Instead the rest on a wide ottoman. That is more like the set up for a first-class seat. Food in Prestige class was above average as was the selection of alcoholic beverages.

Tons of leg room but the seat width was reduced because the tray table/screen is built into the seat. I selected 49J for my return trip because it still has tons of leg room.

The seats have full recline. It was good that there's nobody behind. Lavatory waiting area had a curtain so was not bothersome.

seats 1A and 1J are relatively small compared to other First class seats on this plane. There are no closet in seat 1A and 1J.

KE 086 JFK to ICN seat 2J. Kosmo 2.0 Suites: what a treat. Only six seats in all of first class. Felt very spacious, private, quiet. Very comfortable in all positions. Excellent service and food. I will definitely try to fly this plane again.

Major problem with business class seats - I am 1m85cm tall and COULD NOT FIT when lying flat. I reckon anyone taller than 1m80cm will not fit. This was super uncomfortable because there was nowhere I could put my legs. I did not sleep at all. Seatguru says the seat is 75inche long, = 1m90cm - it definitely isn't. More like 1m80cm as I say. Another minor point is that the upper deck of all 747s (on all airlines) shakes as people walk past, also disturbing sleep.

Auckland to Seoul in Prestige class sleeper suites on the wonderful 747-8. I agree with other reviewers as all seats in prestige class on this aircraft are good and seat 18 J does not have anymore room than other seats but you might want to avoid seat 21H as close to kitchen stairs so will be a little bit more noise. I wish Korean would use this 747-8 on the London to Seoul route

The business class seats are amazing. ALL of them are good seats. Seatguru marks some as less desirable, but every one is a module of its own, and every one is just as good. Windows are very good, they are staggered so you can get out of your seat without the person on the aisle even being aware of you. The bulkheads are the same as the rest. Don't even worry about selecting a seat, they are all good!

i love thi boeing 747since i started flying. economy seaT 38A AND prestige 21 are my favorite. great!

Although row 18 on the upper deck has additional room in front due to the exit doors, there is no additional legroom due to the pod configuration. IMPORTANT On the upper deck all the window seats, A & J, have two roomy side storage compartments.

Upper deck is narrower than the main deck but does not effect comfort level for the passengers. Windows are lower than the main deck and bathroom ceiling is more sloping. Staggered seats are very comfortable and convenient. Window seats have compartments under the window large enough for backpacks or handbags. Very quiet with minimal foot traffic.

10/5/2016, sitz 19A

Wide screen LCD with long foot rest. Doesn't have to border next passenger when need to go bathroom.

7/29/2016, sitz 10h

A great seat. No bother from toilets as the business class used the forward toilets. Impressive layout. Spacious, modern and comfortable

Seoul to San Francisco Airplane tapers towards the front 31-33 are the last seats in rows of 3 before it turns into rows of 2 Very narrow space in window seats

The most spacious, private and comfortable first class seat on Korean Air featuring Kosmo Suite 2.0 with privacy door and individual closet for both jackets and carry-on items. There are only 6 first class seats on 747-8i that makes it really intimate and quiet but not ideal for flights with a company. I would avoid row 1 as the suite size in itself is smaller due to the narrowing of the nose section (no embedded personal closet in the suite but just the seat) and the distance between A and J is the closest amongst all 3 rows. I got a decent and solid 5 hours sleep in seat 2A with the provided memory foam style padding and duvet and the seat can be adjusted pretty much in every position imaginable (move front to rear, incline angle, lumbar adjustment, foot rest, etc.). The engine noise seemed less prominent in comparison to typical 777 or A380s first class section. The only minor inconvenience is that the sliding door needs to be manually open or closed and it is not the smoothest sliding experience. I left mine open when awake as the seat provided ample privacy without the door closed and as it got in the way of interacting with the flight attendant during meal service and when requesting something. During sleep it provides exceptional privacy without feeling claustrophobic.

Nice to have an extra leg room. But, water was dropping from ceiling due to condensation. My pants were soaked. Crew member had no idea how to deal with it. So be prepared.
