I have flown on Lot Business Class numerous times and found the service to be quite good. Unfortunately my last experience was very disappointing. The business class service in the business class cabin is virtually non-existent. No preferential check-in Cheap chocolate covered wafer given as a welcome amuse bouche. No pre-takeoff drink No menu card Pre-packaged subpar food. Selection of wines: red or white (South African) in small bottles Very limited drinks Seat would not recline Price: the highest I have paid so far for this route When asked the attendant what happened to the service, I was told it was COVID-19 related. Is this airline going bankrupt? Can't they afford the proper business service to the 3 passengers in the business cabin? At this time - avoid this airline if you can.
First of all, what I want to say - NEVER trust this airlines, especially during the pandemic. They forced us to buy the ticket by lie to us that we can enter the country of destination. They just wanted to sell the ticket and did not care about the clients. When we were not allowed to enter the country of destination, they did not care how to transfer us back and did it after 30 hours! They didn’t provide any hotel and food during waiting time. By the rules, since it was their mistake, they had to transfer us for free back, but they forced us to pay for the luggage. When we asked for the help of lady on check in desk she screamed on us that it is not her problems and she doesn’t care. Moreover, we spent 30 hours in the room under the control of police and nobody from LOT come to assure that we are safe. It is totally ignorant behavior and it is disgusting in relation to their clients. Please do not trust them and be careful with travel during the pandemic - LOT will manipulate to force you to buy the ticket (since the flights now are half empty) and drop you by your own when you will be in a big trouble! I attached the room when we were forced to spend 30 hours and LOT didn’t care!

Really bad customer service! I understand the challenges EU airlines have had with the changing COVID rules but I do not understand why LOT continues to take reservations even though they are uncertain if they are going to fly. I bought tickets at the end of April for a mid-June flight. That flight was canceled so i rescheduled for July 1. That flight was canceled. Rescheduled for July 5. That flight was canceled. On 24 June 2020, after talking with customer service to rearrange our itinerary, we scheduled our flight for July 27th leaving out of Washington DC... this cost me $400 more because it was at a different than Chicago. After being reassured by LOT customer service that this flight would go, I purchased two more tickets for family members. Three hours later on June 24th I received four emails stating the flight out of DC had been canceled. I requested a refund but, like some else said on this site, there is up to a 4 month delay in receiving a refund... so now I have a $4000+ investment in LOT airline. LOT can not tell me what refund-request date is currently being processed, how many refunds have been requested nor how many have been processed already. Contact by phone takes hours of wait time and there is a two day delay using FB Messenger, snarky answers always.
The flight attendant ignored me completely after I have pointed that a lady facing me did not wear her face mask which is mandatory on board. She just shrug and walked away. Really unprofessional. I'm shocked by the neglectance of the airline.
Very friendly staff, polite and helpful. Great service on board flight and we would definitely fly with them again.
They lost our suitcases and we had to stay 2 days without it and the workers were very rude when that happend they said that it was our fault but it was there’s and we stayed 1 hour arguing with them they also were very slow with getting every one in the airplane we had to wait 1 hour every time and they were very rude when we forgot one of our papers and said that we couldn’t go in the airplane without it.
Like the title says, they won’t refund us the money they owe us for a cancelled flight. To make things worse this company is government owned so they pass laws in Poland that favor the company and not the consumers (like a 6 month extension on processing refunds). Screw LOT I will never fly with them again.
Tblisi to Chicago via Warsaw. I booked with this airline and 2 days later my reservation was cancelled (they were still accepting reservations). After contacting lot I was informed that there would be a 4 month wait for a refund. This seems more like a scam than anything else.
This is definitely worst company ever. I am stillwaiting for refund, for flight that has been canceled week before depature on the 2nd of July. Customer support does not existe, you can not reach them, by email, messenger. Their offices are also closed. AVOID THIS COMPANY
I came to this site to see if there are any airlines that treats their loyal customers fair. It looks like there are none, what is the government doing about it? Why nobody is giving a refund or its hard to get a refund? I had a flight from JFK on July 26, LOT cancelled it a week before departure since then there is a nightmare to get in touch with them. I disputed a charge twice, they refused, I reopened a case with the bank 3 times already. The airlines claimed that they gave me voucher therefore no refund, I called CheapOair to rebook that flight and they told me that LOT froze my ticket for further rebooking. I emailed them, tried to call, messaged on FB, I got one response on FB to contact cheapaoair. I also started a case against the airlines with the attorney so I ve been waiting.....Anyone has a boat? It looks like we can't flight anymore...
Both flights arrived ahead of time, very comfy flights on the wonderfully spacious ERJ170. Good service with a bottle a water, sandwich and a piece of chocolate on this 1hr flight; highly recommended
My first flight was from Brussels to Warsaw on board a embraer 190. I found this type of a aircraft really comfortable! Lot serves a bottle of water and a sweet apple sandwich free of charge. I only found it pity that their on board for sale menu is minimal. Justsomedrinks and sweets but no sandwishes. All 4 flights were on time, friendly staff and good service. Just 2 neg points. At Burgas airport is a priority lounge but as a Lot passenger with star alliance gold you don't get access, and in warsaw for mys flight back to Brussels there was no priority boarding for star alliance gold members.
Lot is worst airline ever.. there website does not work. They wont response calls. They are invisible after selling tickets. They cancel the flight once departure dates comes close.. its is hard to contact them after purchasing the tickets
My two flights had been cancelled. They don't pick up the phone , they are invisible when it comes to Refund ! I WANT MY MONEY BACK SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You cancelled all flight until the 31.08.2020 and DONT REFUND! AVOID THIS COMPANY!
LOT cancelled my trip one week before departure forcing me to buy a new ticket that costed me four times as much - LOT did not offer me the same price flight
Very disappointing experience! We was using this airlines a lot, but just couple days ago my grandmother was suppose to travel from Lviv ( Ukraine) to JFK, she came to the airport and was told that there is some restrictions and she can't fly, same time I received an email saying that she didn't show up for registration! After trying to figure it out everything in an airport, going true a lot of stress she was send back home! It took me three days to contact the CS, and finally after waiting on hold for an hour the lady just told me that ticket cannot be refunded, since it wasn't cancel by airlines, and I can exchange it till October if the restrictions gonna change, but if not then well I guess it's my problem! I try to explain that I search all the regulation before traveling, all the rules and restrictions and didn't find anything what ever they were talking about! Plus some other airlines are flying with no problem, and maybe they should of let us know by email about anything like that, since it wasn't only my grandmother but a lot of other ppl as well! Anyway she said it's nothing they can do!
It took seconds to charge my VISA card in February for the May flight. Why should it take 6 or more month to refund the charges???
Avoid by any means! We have asked for a refund because our flight was cancelled more than a month ago and we haven’t got any response. Customer service can be contacted via phone only but noone picked up even though we tried 3x and waited for an hour on the line. Very disappointed with the airline.
I want to save at least 1 person from making the mistake I made by giving LOT airlines my money. There customer service: VERY POOR. If you are flying from Toronto, go with Air Canada.
