Sitzplan Airbus A320 South African Airways

This South African Airways A320 is very comfortable for short domestic flights. The seats have plenty of legroom, surprisingly even more so than the seats on the long haul Airbus 330 that I had just come off of. There was no seatback on demand enteratinment, but that’s was perfectly acceptable for the 2 hour leg from Johannesburg to Cape Town. We were served a meal on this flight, a touch, as we don’t get free meals in economy anymore in the US. Overall, it was a comfortable two hour flight, and if given the option, I’d definately use SAA for domestic legs again.

Great seat with good legroom just behind the business class. One downside could be that 3 seats share 2 storage spaces for newspapers etc.

One of the best seats in business class on this particular aircraft. Far enough ahead of the engine not to hear its noise but not to close to the toilet either.

Everything about the flight was great. Great food, great seat, great view. When I go anywhere, I expect all to be great and that's what I always get.

Usually fairly pleasant service, but this trip I will remember for a quite frankly, downright rude and unhelpful male member of staff who we wondered why he was in this job at all. Can't wait until the new fleet arrives with up-to-date flight entertainment ie. touch-screen TV's, which the captain announced should be in April. Quite a few empty seats which made for better sleep for the whole family!
