Nice economy class seat with extended room for feet. I'am 1.8 m hight and could fully stretch my legs. In addition, you will be served first. 31A ( window) and 31B (middle ) are similar but only on 31 C you can stretch your legs underneath the curtin which separates economy class from business. The middle row has a bit less ( say 20cm ) leg space. Those seats to the rigth - 31 H / J / K ) are the same like A/B/C
Overhead locker in this area is for crew use only. You have to store your cabin luggage in another locker. Close to the toilets and rear kitchen. Some passengers like to meet there for conversations.
Very good seat good legroom am travel 27 april 2019. Hopfully Thai Airways can use Airbus 350 or Boeing 787 this planes is very quiet. Thanks Thai Airways
The actual aisle gets a lot narrower from about row 68 for a few rows until the seats go back to 2-3-2 configuration, so I would avoid an aisle seat in this area in future as people kept bumping into me.
Less legroom due to curvage of the rear part of the plane. The same applies to seat 68 C.
Had this seat from Bangkok to London Heathrow earlier this week. As a fellow of 5 foot 11 inches, I found it pretty cramped with legroom. This was a problem with the seats in front being fully reclined, as the foot rest was constantly rubbing against my upper shin near the knee. I had a laptop bag with me as well, which didn't help with legroom. I flew out on the A380 and this had much better legroom and seat size, albeit a bit hard on my boney ass. Wouldn't choose TG916 for the 13 hour flight to London, would recommend choosing the row 40, in front, as the toilets weren't annoying as is suggested.
There was a lot of cold coming through the emergency exit door which affected comfort greatly. I was dressed in jeans and a sweater and needed to use two blankets to be ok. Leg space was great of course and the proximity to the bathroom was not really an issue for me.
If you have back problems do not sit in this row of seats or any near a bulkhead, does not recline far enough to give any comfort on a long journey.
Nice standard and comfortable Economy class seat. But the window is slightly misaligned. Neighboring seats 66A and 68A have a much better window alignment!
The Thai Airways Boeing 777-300 ER has offered full flat seat for business class, but the seat condition is a bit ages. The air crew is very friendly and attentive.
The claim that this seat has extra space is simply not true, as there's a storage cupboard in the space in front of the seat, so you gain zero extra space here over the other seats. A seemingly little known fact is that Thai flies the rear business class cabin as premium economy from BKK to ARN and CPH, although the service seem to differ depending on the direction. From BKK to ARN there was mattress toppers, but not from ARN to BKK. I would also warn anyone over 180 to fly Thai business class and expect to be able to stretch out in bed mode, as I'm 184cm and I had zero space to move if I tried to lie straight in bed mode. Not bad seats overall, but some planes are quite old and worn. Also note that there are actually two types of 777-300ER's operated by Thai, as the business class seats are ever so slightly different, with the sea controls, the remove for the entertainment system and the storage space next to the seat being the major differences. Service was great in premium economy and the meals were nice, although not quite business class level.
The legroom was spacious (NOT LIKE AirAsia) and there were two charging ports for the passengers. The cabin crews were polite and well-dressed. The food served on-board was amazing. Each passenger gets to choose a choice of meal, Kid's Meal, Seafood Meal or Low Fat / Low Cholesterol Meal.
Great seat I would say. Legroom is good. I'm 186cm and I have no problem sitting here. You get served first too for economy class. You can get out from the plane first to. So its definitely worth taking this seat. Long flight journey like this, the most important is LEGROOM
I personally feel this is one of the best seat for economy class. Legroom was awesome. I'm 186cm tall and i dont have problem at all to sit here. I really enjoyed this seat. Bare in my, this seat only for 18+ (due to beside emergency exit).
In rows 20 and 22, the two seats are very close. Good for couples, not as good for others! The "entrance" is quite narrow. When one has a glass standing on the tray, it is not easy to go in or out... The middle seats in rows 19 and 21 are close to the aisle. More distance to the neighbor, but less privacy. The seats are converting to a flat bed, long enough for people up to approx. 1.90 (I'm above...)
Seat had same recline as others with curtains behind, only had attendant traffic passing, side of cater wall gave privacy but appears closer than those with opposite seats, with two larger people in adjacent seats about 100mm overlap into my seat quite frankly seats too narrow for long haul comfort. 54c had less people traffic than others leading and around wc area
The headboard is unusable and cannot be opened (likely used for equipment).
Seats are very narrow. I don't think 32" is the correct, they feel a lot more narrow than the usual 31". In additional they are shell seats, so base of seats will slide forward if back reclines. With narrow pitch as it is this is horrible. Thai has one of the worst economy seats for long haul flights around amond the major carriers.
Excellent seat. 180 degrees recline, no interruptions and excellent with from the windows.
Great business class seats and great service. Thai has an annoying habit of changing equipment last minute esp between 777-300, 777-300ER, 777-200, A330 etc which can really screw up advanced seat assignments
