Reviews

1/17/2019, seat Business

For a short haul this business class seat is superior to anything I've seen on domestic lines. I believe the seat pitch given in SeatGuru is far understated. If the seat were to fully recline it would nearly fit a flat bed. The seat also featured a selectable slow lumbar massage. Even on this short flight a meal was served and the service was great with likely a 2:1 pax:attendant ratio.

Width is good, relatively comfortable seat.

6/9/2018, seat quite

In general, I think the seat are comfortable and soft enough. As the way to Hong Kong is full of tuberlence, the flight was terrible. But overall I think the seat is great.P.s.The aircraft is B-8976,which was brand new at that time

3/29/2016, seat 46J

The A321 I flew om March 16 now has 2 seat in row 46 to allow a jump seat for flight attendant in the row behind. Those seats are at east 2 inches narrower than standard economy and all but unusable to anyone over 165 lbs in weight. That leaves some 16" of wasted empty space between 46J and the window. Truly BAD seats!

7/14/2014, seat 8L

Business Class seat on clean, new A321 good with ample leg room but not fully-flat. Food excellent. Recommend reserving food choice in advance since airline understocks on board — last row regularly only has one food choice left. Airline has plenty of daily flights but Honqiao airport closer to Shanghai city center, consider flights starting there. PVG Check-in pain-free albeit with 15 minute queue on this day. Lounge in PVG sub-par and not worth attending. Private bus for Business Class passengers to aircraft, which is usually parked at remote stand at PVG. HKG during summer often has weather delays, morning flights have higher chances of arriving on time. Economy passengers: upgrade is relatively cheap and well worth it on this very busy route if you want to avoid the cattle treatment. The row numbers listed on this website for this aircraft are incorrect. Business class has 20 seats but the last row is number 8.

7/8/2014, seat 7C

Relatively new aircraft - well-kept. Seat pitch was excellent and there was plenty of legroom much to my surprise. Service was not outstanding but absolutely adequate and attentive. Food was very good.

7/4/2014, seat 39L

Relatively new aircraft, clean and well-kept. Seat pitch is excellent for a narrow-body regional aircraft, and there was plenty of space for my legs (my height is 1.80m). No personal IFE, but it was a short 2 hour flight. Service isn't stellar, but was adequate and relatively attentive.
