The whole "possibility to change flight due to corona" for free is a scam. In total 4 flights I purchased. 1. the first flight was cancelled, I made a claim for a refund- they got back to me after a week with a voucher instead of money return and made it impossible and difficult to get my money back, eventually I had to give up and accept the voucher. The second flight I could not change for free, I could not make decision in less than 7 days prior to flying so I missed the "free change option" - did not fly. The other two flights were purchased together and because of that I just could not make change only to one of the flight, only to both of them. So I did not make a change, did not fly. Totally disappointing experience. You might have gotten my 100 eur of my flights this time but you just lost a customer. Great example how not approach customers.

On the 5th of March I booked a flight to go to Spain to see my ill father who lives in spain, I booked my flights for the 20th of August for a week before we knew there was a pandemic happening. The government announced that people need to quarantine for 2 weeks after visiting Spain and said they would review the situation as they may lift the 2 week quarantine, but as they never did I could no longer go to Spain as my work place would not allow me to be off for 3 weeks, I told Ryanair that I was no longer able to go to Spain and didn't expect a refund but I asked if I could have a voucher for the amount I spent on the flights to use for next year with themselves, or if they could let me change my flight date to next year and waiver the fee. They said they could not issue a refund, they said they would NOT give me a voucher and said they will NOT waiver the flight change fees because I booked my flight before the 10th of June. THIS IS NOT FAIR AT ALL! how is it fair that people who booked a flight before knowing a pandemic would happen get nothing but people who booked flights KNOWING there was a pandemic be allowed vouchers or the change flight fees waived! I found the flights for next year at the same price but they wanted to charge me £45 change fee for each flight (there and back) and a £30 fee for bags, so a total of £120 just to change my flights to next year, I paid £193 for my flights for August! When I rang to speak to them they said the only thing I can hope for is that they cancel my flight as it would be the only way for them to give me anything. I'm disgusted that they would do this after all the money I've spent with them in the past on flights. Not just me but everyone has been affected financially by the pandemic, I just wanted to see my ill father for a week and the last thing I needed was to lose £193 and now not be able to afford to see him next year. I will NEVER use Ryanair again and I will tell everyone how bad they are and for them to not use Ryanair WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!
So far this year Ryanair have cancelled 4 of my flights between March and July. Despite receiving 34 emails from Ryanair, all saying the refunds were being processed I am still waiting for two refunds. One refund took over 100 days to process. Ryanair flight crews are being made redundant through no fault of their making but because the general public will never trust Ryanair on their promises. Looking at Trustpilot, 80% of over 7900 reviews count their service as BAD or 1*. Easyjet process refunds in 7 days. Book with Ryanair at your peril!
I am absolutely disgusted with the disrespect the luggage team have! I travelled with 7 other members of my family one who is my 8 month old daughter. 5 out of 7 cases have been damage along side of my daughters car seat! The man who deals with the push chairs saw me and see that I was walking to wards my buggy and instead of placing my buggy on the floor he threw it along with another passengers buggy I then see him throw my car chair face down on the floor where it remained till all the cases were put in the trolly! I do not understand how there is allowed to be such careless behaviour even with baby luggage I would like to add that it was raining and my car chair was left to get wet! I am absolutely disgusted and will never be flying with Ryan air nor travelling from Luton ever again
I would like to just said thanks to slovak girl LENKA as she did great customer service today in plane 6.20pm from Bratislava to DUBLIN,she was excellent, please say thanks to her from me...Milan Bystrican
Due to fly to Malaga, Spain 28th Jul 2020, Ryanair had rescheduled outbound flight, I lost of my 5 rebooked seat reservations. called them but phone number just said busy and cut off, tried the Chat Bot. After hours got connected, but could not be seated together without me paying extra? I asked if was free to travel from Leeds instead. Agent who was obviously dealing with more than one issue at once kept asking me to repeat myself (read transcript FR PNR P96QFQ). Agent said Leeds flight was a day later so no good, I asked to forget it and look what could be done on my Manchester seats. After a long period of time seats were booked at a fee of £9, I agreed and told I had to go online to pay or I could not check in. I did and saw agent had rebooked me out of Leeds instead of leaving it as Manchester. I had to contact them again and eventually got it booked back to Manchester after hours later, but I lost my £9 as they were seats on the Leeds aircraft? They blamed me (read transcript FR). Then the government on the 26th July said no 'non-essential' travel to Spain, so yet again I tried to call Ryanair. Here we go again, hours and hours trying to get through, then when I did, they said they could not do anything as the flight was still going. I could not change it as I had already had a change (They booked me from Leeds by accident and back to Manchester but said I had changed it) SO I COULD NOT HAVE A FREE CHANGE. Hours later they said I could just change the return but I had to pay for the outbound, then they changed their mind and said 'no you can't' you have to travel before the end of this year’ I could not rebook for free for next year . This is a cut down version of the abysmal service I received, no compassion, no empathy just a ‘tough’ attitude. I have lost £1100 and no voucher or anything from Ryanair. I have sent off the online complaint’s forms, requested a refund, done everything possible here, but nothing from Ryanair just rejection. This company should be dragged over the coals and the government step in with the CMA, to help travellers like me, who cannot claim on insurance and left with nothing. Ryanair are the worst airline on record for customer service, they should be ashamed. I will not be leaving it here, £1100 is a lot of money to lose. What are you doing about it Ryanair nothing? People should boycott your airline; how do you think this is right?
Our flight was cancelled by Ryanair early May 2020. Still waiting for a refund at the end of August. Chatbot is rubbish. Tried calling by phone but after several hours gave up. The worst airline and company in the world for customer service. They should be put out of business by the CAA. They don't care for their customers as we are only sheep to them. Shame on you Ryanair.
Traveled from Bristol to Poland, absolutely disgusting, NO SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL, they a money making firm, travel with my family, we were scattered every were, next to people we never met, no gloves or protection on flight attendance, we were like sardines in a tin to get on flight, and cheap they definitely not, PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING WITH THEM 😠😷
My daughter just got "fined" £25 for taking the tiniest little hand luggage possible, well within your guidelines. This is a license to print money, got through security and check in absolutely fine. Absolutely disgusting treatment of a young girl flying on her own. The bag was smaller than advertised as ok for hand luggage as we measured it.
The way this company operates is absolutely disgraceful. There are no words to describe how angry I feel right now at their shocking company practices and awful customer service. They are by far the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my 43 years of existence on planet earth. Unethical policies, misleading terms and rude customer service. I don’t know how they have managed to retain their licence to trade and will never fly Ryanair again not if you paid me a thousand pounds.
Waiting on refund since April. Live chat might as well not exist because nobody answers even though you wait in line for over an hour. Worst customer service ever. I don't know how companies get away with carry on like that.
We are still waiting for refunds for our cancelled flights. It takes seconds to process a refund, so they are refusing to pay within reasonable time frame like all the other airlines. Section 75 being applied for.
Having been trying to get hold of Ryanair customer services for 2 weeks to either cancel or re-arrange our flights, was on hold over 14 times for nearly an hour before they hung up, got hold of someone at 8am this morning eventually and they offered us nothing - no refund, no other options to book flights and no apology very matter of fact. Couldnt get us off the phone quick enough. This company is a terrible, how do they continue to get away with it? Don't fly with this company they are cowboys, it may seem cheaper at first but once they add everything else its more expensive, terrible service and no Fxxcks given attitude.
My children and I traveled with Ryanair At the beginning of August. Although face covering were compulsory both at the airport and in the plane (and all passengers were regularly reminded of this) there was a noticeable minority of passengers (parents with children) who did not wear face coverings. They had repeated contact with airport and Ryanair staff and not once were they asked to wear masks. I found it shocking. Surely the travel industry has the responsibility to keep all passengers safe. At this difficult and dangerous time in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic this involves ensuring that all passengers who are not exempt cover their mouth and nose with some sort of suitable covering. Ryanair failed their responsibility to ensure this and potentially put passengers lives at risk. Another disappointment came today when I opened email from Ryanair informing me that the time of our flight was changed from convenient 11:55am to 6:40am. No explanation. I checked the website and the 11:55 flight hasn’t been cancelled; it is fully booked. I can just assume that our seats were sold for a higher price. The early morning flight is highly inconvenient. It will be very difficult for us to travel 170km to Prague in order to be there 2 hours before the time of the flight at 4:40 in the morning! I tried to contact Ryanair about the change of time. Live chat seems to be operated by a robot called Ryanair Chatbot. He / she / it answered by providing automated information about electric wheelchairs. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I have not been able to live chat. I am really cross. Very disappointed with Ryanair customer service.
We traveled with a 1 year old baby, there for we hoped that by coming and making checkin at the airport we could sit next to each other. We ended up paying 110 euro for checking at the airport and still getting purposely seats far away from each other... inhumane policies
Hi there! Can someone reply to my query? I went on hold on the phone for 1h and you do t reply via chat.
I don't know how the people at Ryan Air sleep at night, but again I don't think they care one bit about their passengers in the slightest they just laugh all the way to the bank or in O'Leary case all the way to the racehorse sales.Suggest he calls the next horse he buys Thankyou Riped Off Passengers,Ryan Air are a disgrace I have been trying to get a refund since April but not once have Ryan Air answered a phone email or letter. I really don't know how they get away with flouting the law and why the government are doing nothing about them I,have written to my MP for an answer to that question.Thankfully Lloyds Bank are much more professional and helpful and after 4 months of trying Ryan Air they refunded my money within 20 minutes even though I paid by debit card ,Ryan Air you are a DISGRACE
Hi Ryanair! Today me and my family were refused to enter the flight we booked because your staff said we did not meet the requirements we needed, thought we did. We try to get in contact with your company we also tried to get your employees to speak with the embassy ( as it was about PCR, and Documents) they refused we ask then for an email address so the Embassy could tell them we were right and didn’t have any restrictions as we were only in transit there (cause it was not our final destination), they refused sonI have the Embassy worker my own..we show them the boarding passes for the next flight... here I attached a picture from the embassy answer that I did show to your staff And they decided to ignore... the attitude of your staff could not be worst and the information they have was wrong. End up calling the police thought they close the flight... me and my family lost both flight so I’m reporting this to the police. And making a official complaint. We had everything book and my family was going there for a treatment that now I don’t know if we are going to be able to get. Travel with you before many times, think I will try to avoid you at all cost now... Awful staff and worst service
This company is abysmal, if I can stop one person flying with Ryanair I would have helped someone. The way they treat customers is shocking. I had my flights cancelled and they moved my flights and now I can’t get a refund or move them. Disgusting
