Amazing seat on a route from London this is a great seat great food
Overall a satisfactory experience, better than many other airlines. Seat width, legroom and recline were better than most other airlines in the Economy class. Entertainment offered ample choice with over 2000 channels available. Food and drink were satisfactory but I have experienced better. The same applies to the service.
To close to the galley. Very noisy due working times in the galley not a "real" first class seat
Far enough away from the lounge so minimal noise. Unless you're 5'11 or shorter, you'll be unable to lie flat. Also, your feet go into a cubbyhole. Very uncomfortable unless you take your shoes off. The table does not have a hinge from which, once it extends, you can push it away from you. Time for Emirates to upgrade to the 787
This is a wonderful seat with extra legroom because there is no seat in front. The only drawback is there is no storage space while the plane is taking off so you have to pull out your goodies on to your seat before hand but not everything. Also the tv screen in in the arm rest so kind of a pain. Best part of this seat is you get extra leg room and you can stand up at any time you want when safe. Also people waiting for the bathrooms are buffered by the 2 seats in front left of you. Note, some airlines block exit in front of you but Emirates has it totally open. Had this seat for a 16 hour flight round trip. Also bring a seat pad (inflatable) for all long trips. Saves your back and butt.
You might want to think twice about sitting in 23K or 23A because right in front of you mounted on the wall is where they keep the reading material (magazines/newspapers) and you will have people coming over continuously to your seat for reading material. Also I never noticed this before because I'm a small sized person however any inward window seat in business class might not be a good fit for a fuller sized person. Getting in an out of the aisle to your seat might be a bit of a squeeze.
The seat was very comfortable with all the normal comfort of Emirates business class, however I was kept awake most of the night due to passengers partying in the lounge. They were very loud. It woke me up several times. I would not sit in this seat again.
Good legroom in this row but a lot of passengeers use this legroom as a walkway between the toilets. This kept me awake most of the night as they stepped on me or otherwise knocked me
Beware this seat is just next to the place where infants are provided
This is a great seat in the business section. Far enough forward of the bar area that I didn't hear any noise at all. It is behind a bulkhead which houses a coat closet. A little busy during boarding, but no one uses the closet once airborne. This bulkhead, combined with a divider between the seat and the aisle, makes for a very private area. Overall, seat was comfortable, with a great selection of entertainment. There are two windows at this seat. You're seated just behind the wing, so your view is about half wing and half ground.
The seat has a double window
My son and I just flew round trip between JFK and Dubai, both times in 23E and F, and we were extremely happy with these seats. They are in the smaller rear business class section, which is both quieter and nearer the lavs so less of a hike. At the same time, they are in the front of this cabin, so noise from the bar does not really carry. This row also has the storage areas towards the aisle, so there is no bother from flight attendants or passengers in the front business section passing through on their way to the bar or lavs. I especially recommend these seats for a pair traveling together, but the privacy screen between E and F is high enough that I personally wouldn't be bothered as a single either if A and K seats were not available.
I have chosen to sit in 65D now 3 times. I like having close access to the toilet which is not bothersome. Chair still has a good incline, is a disabled seat so arm rest goes up. Temperature/noise comfortable enough to sleep. Im 5ft 7, size UK22, this is one of the most comfortable economy seats I have tried so far.
On the A380, for my family of 4 this is the 'best' most comfortable seats available with great pitch, entertainment and then food (in that order). 3 of us over 6ft so ideal seats. Everything worked as it should from the seats.
Good seat overall. The screen worked fine, though the headphone jack was a bit fiddly. This seat is nice for long flights as it is just far enough from the toilets that you can stretch your legs a bit. Great amount of room for a 5'7 woman of medium build. Nothing too fancy, but was comfortable enough to get me a little bit of sleep between London and Dubai.
The trip was from Brisbane Australia to Dubai in a nutshell A380 Economy seats are the best.
On EK9 Dubai to Gatwick. Not convinced about the seating style, you feel cramped due to excess stuff, but the service and food is fabulous.
Has a very nice view of the engines while still being able to see what's on the ground. The noise from the engines could become quite bothersome. The seat is quite close to the galley which didn't bother me particularly but it could bother some people.
Dont ever sit in 6D. High traffic and not a lot of space like the other seats. Good if you have a baby though
First time travel I(travelled business class) in in A380. I found the plane very well appointed with excellent facilities provided for the pax at the seats. The entertaiment system was very nice with large tv screen. The bar at the end of the plane was a great feature and was a unique feature.
