Reseñas
Quite comfortable flight. Seats were good. Good legroom. Two meals were good had beef and seafood, with the latter being very good. Window seat on port side of plane is hot because of constant sunshine for the whole flight. Every shade was closed but radiated heat. I would choose the starboard side next time.
This is the KE 777 refitted with the new Prestige seats in business class for trans-pacific flights. With the 2-2-2 seating arrangement all seats have aisle access without having to disturb the adjacent passenger. Seats offered full 180 degree recline with ample leg room and a divider between seats for privacy. Blanket and pillows were top quality. Of the 36 seats available in the aft business cabin only 12 were occupied so it was a very quiet flight. FA's were extremely attentive though their command of English was limited however this did not affect the quality of service. Although the headphones were of decent quality the IFE selection of English entertainment was rather limited, maybe 20-24 movies ranging from the 1970's onward. The entree selected by both my wife and myself (chicken stuffed with ricotta cheese and wrapped in bacon) left much to be desired and one needs to be proactive if you wish more than one alcoholic drink. The breakfast (quiche) was most definitely better. Seats could use a bit more storage space but were otherwise some of the best around.
Business class on korean air was one of the only great experiences Ive had recently flying
The noise from the enjine was loud, it had pretty good amount of legroom for economy. For a 14hour flight not bad, nor good for 50H go KAL777-300ER
Acceptable seat with good privacy when the middle screen is up. Very comfortable as a seat, moderate comfort as a bed. In the bed format, the TV controller will light up when bumped (annoying) and the storage areas on your right make for somewhat uncomfortable edges. The bed was slightly too short for me to lay completely straight (I'm 6'0"). Other annoyance: second meal was served at 4:30 a.m. destination time with no breakfast prior to a 9:50 a.m. scheduled arrival.
Exit row was very comfortable for a big fella like me but the overall seat comfort was in its sufficient padding for the long haul from ICN to Seattle. I agree that food is not adequate bu neiher were movies but audio selection was fantastic...anyways, the review is about the seat. It's very good and the best 777 Economy experience in terms of seat comfort.
The new configuration for Korean Air when the plane has the 2,2,2 in business class is amazing. I have flown on Delta, JAL, and Korean in business and this seat has to be the most spacious and comfortable of them all. Service on KAL was very professional and courteous. Food was okay, JAL I think had higher quality food in their business class service. In Seattle with the SkyTeam alliance you get access to the Delta lounge in the S terminal also very nice.
The seat had a lot of legroom and from where I was sitting, I could see the terminal on landing.
Korean Air 777-300ER (as all other widebody aircraft of Korean do) have more leg space than any other Airlines I have flown on. See uploaded picture (and I'm 190 cm tall). Good seat width due to the 3 3 3 seating too. Very comfy (at least, as Economy may be).
Seat gets bumped by passengers coming back from only Toilet for this side of Business Class!
