91 days now and STILL fighting Easyjet for my cash refund on flights that THEY CANCELLED..... EU LAW 261/2004 states if an airline cancels your flight BY LAW they MUST refund you within 7 days!..... The UK government is doing absolutely NOTHING to help the thousands of people who are fighting this disgusting company that won't give people there money back!....... Why is our government not helping it's people by not making this RIP-OFF company follow law????...... Will NEVER FLY WITH THESE CON MERCHANTS EVER AGAIN!........ Please spread this around DON'T fly EASYJET.
We rented a 7 seater car from Easyjet car hire, when we turned up there was no 7 seat car available. 3 hours of phone calls then followed where Easyjet blamed Cartrawller, Cartrawller blamed Noleggaire (the Rome car hire partner) and we ended up with some of our party on the train. They will not refund anything. The inability for Easyjet or thier partners to take responsibility was an utter joke and they did not give a 'profanity' that it ruined our weekend. Please never use Easyjet carhire they are crooks.

They are money grabbers to the max. I have flown with my same carry on suitcase a thousand times to and from Spain but this time I was told my bag is too big even though I could fit it into the signed space provided by easyJet itself! I had to pay €60 to put my bag in the hold and I am livid! I will NEVER fly with easyJet again! You've got the last €60 you'll grab from me!
Always been a sceptic about flying with cheap airlines and how wrong have I been. Had a very pleasant flight with easyJet from Dalaman to London. Small plane but plenty of leg room for the average person. The boarding was quick, take off was quick and everything was smooth. Pilot communicated well whenever he anticipated turbulence and the flight attendants were very welcoming and smiley. The only downfall is the absence of any form of in-flight entertainment - so be sure to take a book with you or download plenty of games. Will be flying with easyJet again.
Just came back from Lanzarote and flights both was were good. Outbound flight - very empty, moved to an extra legroom row. Inbound flight - slightly more customers, again moved to an extra legroom row. Hot drinks were served on this flight, which was nice. Very impressed with how people left the plane by rows, as opposed to the usual scrum when you land. Will continue to use.
As airlines go, easy jet are a great budget airline. Plenty of routes, great pilots and cabin crew and I have never had a problem at the airport with them. However customer service in regard to the communicating with you when it should be their priority is where they fail. And I am yet to have easyJet take full responsibility for a lack of communication on their part. I will continue to use easyJet as they’re good for pricing. But truth be told, there are better airlines.
I fly EJ many many times and Europcar provided a good service. They are now tied with Gold car. They insisted on €1200 for excess cover - a ludicrous amount. They refused to rake debit card (why?). I rarely use mu credit card and did not have €1200 on it so they charged me €242 for 10 days’ cover which i don’t need as I have cover!!! Furious!!!! Went to car, battery was flat, they then gave me a crappy old Seat with 40,000 on the clock. I have no words for how awful this experience was. This was at Faro airport...avoid at all costs!!!!

Due to the restrictions on travelling via Belgium we were forced to swtich from Eurostar to a flight at the last minute . Easyjet were very poor from the point of view of social distancing - if you have any worries concerning Covid 19 then DO NOT travel using Easy Jet . Here are our thoughts (i) We were sent to a final departure lounge where we were all squashed together in a small room (ii) We all handed our passport to the same woman - so she touched every passport with bare hands . (iii) The staff in this area did not wear masks - nor on the plane itself (iv) The plane was overfull ?is there not a limit to the amount of people on a plane these days . We were seated in emergency rows - all seats were full next to us and all around us . No social distancing at all . So get you act together Easyjet please . You are risking peoples lives
EasyJet kept me 100% upt to date with what was going on and emailed me first when my inbound flight was cancelled, they advised I could apply for a full refund which I did and received within a couple of days. Took a bit longer to get back from the travel provider but EasyJet were great! Thank you
We booked with Easy Jet holidays to go to Rhodes in September 2020 as soon as the air corridors came into force. On Thursday evening we received an e mail to say they were very sorry but due to the closure of our chosen hotel they could no longer offer us the holiday. We had 2 options. 1) cancel the whole holiday and get a credit and rebook if we wished or 2) let them chose a new hotel and if none available then we would get a cash refund. We opted to cancel and rebook. On doing this, the credit was put into my account instantaneously. We then went back into the holiday webpage and found a hotel that was suitable. We changed the dates of the holiday by 2 days as it was better for us, upgraded to half board and booked it. The holiday was £60 cheaper so that is still on credit to put towards another holiday in the future and it was all done in less than 10 minutes. The process was very quick and easy and I give Easy Jet 10 out of 10 for simplicity. Well done Easy Jet, if only Travel Republic were as accommodating, they owe us over £800 and after 5 months still cannot contact them nor have we received our credit note let alone a refund.
My friend and I were on a return Easyjet flight to Malta from Gatwick. It was very straight forward as we only took hand luggage. The plane left and arrived on time, the ride was smooth and staff were polite. The only issue was that our return flight time was changed and was not informed. Luckily, I checked before printing the boarding cards!
Two holidays cancelled with only just under 2 x weeks notice , second one with no explanation, we spent a fortune getting everything organised to comply, DONT GO , TERRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE.

On arrival to Manchester airport to fly to Corfu for a last minute booking. Arrived 3 hours before departure as we had the Aspire lounge booked. Told by a member of staff that bag dtop is now only open 2 hours before. So fl8ght leaves 17.20 Gate closes 16t0 Bag drop opens at 15.20 Leaves us a total of 1 hour 20 mins....hmmmmm...
We took our first flight since lockdown and I thought EasyJet had done a very good job. Left on time both ways and arrived early both ways too.
I booked a car hire with EasyJet for my short 3 night trip to Milan. When I booked the car with EasyJet and paid them I also paid for the Premium insurance (which waivers all excess charges which cost my another £19.00 per day). When I arrived and went to collect the car from a company called Sicily by Car they wanted to pre charged my credit card 664.86 euros for collision wavier. I explained that I had already paid for the extra premium insurance and showed the guy the email but the bottom line was I either allowed the pre charged amount or NO CAR. So with little choice I allowed the pre charge to go on my credit card. I returned the UK a day early and drop the car back. The car was checked and there was no problem but the pre charged amount is still showing on my credit card 3 days later! I can't get hold of anyone at EasyJet so I've now had to email the car hire company in Italy to find out what is going. For reference I have just found out that EasyJet don't actually do the car hire part, they just farm it out to a third party. Save your self the agro and book the car direct with a company you can talk to.
I booked a flight to Geneva from London. The flight dates (not times; dates !) got changed at short notice and I wasn’t offered a chance to get a refund. Tried and called their “customer service” (that would be the technical name, but I am not sure this has any meaning for that airline) and gave up after an actual 55 mins wait. I have now just received a no-reply email telling me that I wouldn’t get anything back ... I believe my story, which is unlikely to be unique unfortunately, tells a lot about EasyJet utter despise of customer’s care. The ticket cost wasn’t much, but as a matter of principle I will not fly with those guys ever
Had booked to go to Amsterdam prelockdown and some time ago got emails from easyjet to say flight times had changed, fair enough, in these difficult times. Went to check in to these flights last weekend and they`ve been CANCELLED!! No emails from them to inform us(in fact it would appear a deliberate policy to make it as awkward as possible for the customer and they might then have to take the totally unacceptable, to us, alternative flights) So to cut a long story short have had to cancel our trip. Wont be using them if at all possible in the future
