Qsuite is a brilliant concept. It does not feel cramped and is superb in terms of comfort and service. I do take the point made elsewhere about feeling confined in the middle seats on a day flight. Get a window seat, which also have individual air nozzles. Go for the front cabin, as rear one a bit noisier. Go for the rear one on the A350900.
Probably the best seat in the whole economy cabin: unlimited legroom, first serve of meals, zero traffic as you’re right behind business, power outlet below. Totally recommend
Comparing the previous seating in the flight from Houston to Doha this was a little bit okay...
Seats are not comfortable.
I agree with comments made with regards to this seat. These 2 seats and the others on the opposite side of the aircraft should not have been added. You are always bothered with people standing in front of you, waiting for the bathroom. Also the service trollies are always in your way when they prepare meals. They tend to leave them next to you in the aile and that becomes a problem.
You mentioned that other passengers might bump into you in this seat! I found that not the case, as this seat is in the beginning of the economy section. You do not get much traffic during the flight at all. Very nice place to be with additional leg room.
Marvelous seat. Bathroom is not an issue as it is on the other side of the plane. Gallery noise was non-existent, all FAs were very quiet throughout the 15+hr flight. Would not hesitate to select this seat again, even though it's closer to the engine and probably has more engine noise than the forward seats, but no one is in front of you and foot traffic was very light, mostly FAs walking around the cabin. Qsuite is heads and shoulders above any other business class product I've ever flown and I'm forever spoiled by it and by super friendly FAs and by the ability to dine at any time.
Quite probably the WORST seat on any plane in history. I say this having flown 100k+ miles the past few years. People gather around your feet for the bathroom, as typical with exit rows, but that's not the worst part. The galley is right at your shoulder, and there is constant noise. You would think on a 12 hour flight there would be quiet times, after dinner perhaps. Nope. Constant banging of drawers, etc for 12 hours. This seat should be removed from the plane. Same goes for A and C too. Unless you want to know what it's like to sit in a galley for the whole flight, avoid this seat (and row 38 for good measure) at all costs.
The Q suite in general is outstanding and is in my opinion the best business class product available. I have flown business on the Emirates A380 within the past year and was very satisfied with the comfort level and service, but the Q suite is even better. The arrangement of the storage and generous foot well allow for turning over easily and comfortable sleep in any position, and the ability to close the door and turn on a Do Not Disturb sign is a brilliant contribution. A couple reviews elsewhere have favored the rear-facing K seats over forward-facing J because there is a little more distance between the suite door and the aisle, but the door does a great job of ensuring that you won't be bumped by passengers or flight attendants heading to/from the galley or restrooms. Finally, while I traveled alone this time, there were a couple families of three to four who were able to be seated in a pod with privacy screens that could be lowered, which is a great touch if you have young children.
While the enthusiasm for Q suites is entirely justified, I had 1K from DOH-LHR. I'm glad that it was a day flight because the lavatory immediately behind me (in this backward facing seat) was VERY noisy. Otherwise the flight and service maintained QR's exceptionally high standards.
This is a bulk head seat with great leg room. TV is located on the wall ahead and is smaller than those fitted in the head rests but more than acceptable. This is a new plane and the media controls are excellent.
QSuites are fantastic. Comfortable, great leg room, excellent IFE, food is more like first class on other airlines and the A350-1K is amazingly quiet. Best seats on this aircraft in business might be in the mini-cabin that only has 8 seats.
