I have sat in most seats in Falcon Gold on this route and all of them have something broken. The recline is almost non-existent, so it is impossible to get comfortable for this 5 hour flight. Absolutely the most uncomfortable business class seats imaginable. In addition, and also very shocking, GF is too cheap to put movies on this flight, which at 5 hours, is a disgrace . If you are lucky, one of the cabin crew will put in a different flight number to fool the system and you will get them.

The screen did not work very well but service was pretty good. GOOD legroom.

May I never have the opportunity to fly GF again as long as I live. No inconvenience for Western passengers is too great to demand -- while the whims of local pax who check in at last moment are indulged. My only consolation was the Irish F/A who told all pax to fasten their seatbelts in the most surly manner imaginable -- otherwise GF pax are apt to ignore F/A instructions. The frequent inter-Gulf connections are the only thing to recommend GF; certainly their soft product is dismal when one could choose EK or Qatar.
