These seats are really uncomfortable. The reason is that there is little or no padding, and as the seat is rounded you kind of sink into it. Hard and uncompromising. Further to that the arm rests are very narrow and made of hard plastic. Equally bad. Avoid these new Air NZ aircraft if you can.

This seat is next to a crew seat which requires you to move to let the crew into for take-off and landing. You need to make space while the crew disarms door and cross-checks. Awkward as you face each other and are located knee-to-knee.
