Ideal seat to have
Lots of room, nearly 6 feet to the bulkhead. Seat faces cabin staff on take off landing. washroom was far enough away not to cause and issue. would recommend
10G is being described as somewhat problematic due to proximity of lavatories. However, it has the advantage of not having a seat behind it, so no constant "tapping" on the screen in your headrest, and no issues with bothering the person behind you. I experienced the tapping in another seat on TS546 (by a very active little boy behind me), and not having it on the way back was a true relief.
Best seat in house
The flight between Québec and Varadero was on time with C-GTSO. The personnal tv was perfect (lot of movies, tv program, games, musics, etc.). 70%full
Had to keep reclining the seat throughout the whole flight. Length of seat made for an uncomfortable 9.5 hour flight. Bonus is 2 windows. Trays were dirty/cruddy don't forget your wet ones antiseptic wipes! Can't add photo's because had my camera stolen inflight...
Very good & clean airplane , very comfortable & smooth riding , can't ask for better than AIRTRANSAT flights ...
Travelled back from Toronto on C-GTSD; seating in rear economy cabin is unlike rows 4-30. Legroom is compromised by thickness of seat backs. I believe this a/c is recently acquired from a premium carrier. Were these 'extra' seat trasplanted from a retired plane? Did not resemble usual Airbus seats. Flight out on C-GTSO had uniform seating & legroom.
God airplane, but the vision of movie is only english or french no italian or subtitle italian
Overall, the flight to Orlando was a comfortable flight. The seating was a bit crammed, but for a three hour flight it was tollerable. Food was great and good prices make short trip amazing.
Even at 5'8", the Air Transat transatlantic flight seats were terribly cramped. With forward seat reclined, it is claustrophobic. A preponderance of family vacationers make for excited travellers, standing passengers, and a noisy cabin throughout the night. The mid-flight meal forces everyone to wake up as no-one can use their tray tables while the forward seat is reclined. Not worth the discount unless the whole family is flying.
