Are Lingus claims a 31” seat pitch for these seats and there is no way that is accurate, it appears to be 29”. Seats are very narrow and extremely uncomfortable. Plane was old and worn out, seats and tray tables broken. Live map did not work on both to/from flights which is annoying because you don’t know when this most horribly uncomfortable flight will ever end! Never again will I fly a 757 overseas if I can avoid it. And Aer Lingus’ planes have fallen into disarray. Legroom pitiful, and comfort atrocious!

Don't Buy or Upgrade to this Seat!!! Originally I thought it would be worth the additional money to upgrade to this seat for our return long haul home. Although there are a few pros but mostly cons to add. Pros - you have good leg room but are partially blocked on the left leg by the door. You are close to the front of the plane for boarding and unloading. You have full access to get up without disturbing your neighbor. The cons however far outweigh the pros - The seat barely reclines, the seat cushions are very worn and uncomfortable with minimal padding on the back and under your bottom, There is a cold air breeze coming from the bottom of the door on your left foot which keeps the area cold, there is no space to store anything so you must keep it in the overhead bins, the entertainment screen kept falling down hitting my leg, the tray table had a significant lean to the left and down causing your dinner tray to nearly slide off the table and finally you have no privacy because people keep coming up to the area in front of you to walk around, stretch, and stand during the flight. Recommendation - Don't bother paying for this seat it was completely not worth it.

I flew on EI-LBT and the traytable was falling apart and the seatback cover was falling off. I didn't think the IFE selection was as generous as other transatlantic airlines, but it had a USB port so all good.

Flying phl to dub the armrest on my right was broken and the left armrest woudent go up.

I really like this aircraft and Aer Lingus. The business section is small--only 12 seats. If you are a solo flyer, then you can have a single seat to yourself like 3A. It's like flying on a throne. Service and good were really good. Loved the Voya products in the amenity kits and lavatories. I also did not find the temperature to be too hot as is noted on many European carriers. Flying from Dublin to the USA offers pre-clearance of customs. When you reach your designation, you take your bag and go. For all of these reasons, Aer Lingus business class is my preferred business class travel from Europe to the USA.

Decent comfort, nothing special. There are personal TV's with USB power at each seat. Old aircraft, but for the shorter trans-Atlantic routes, it does the job.

"A great seat!" A decent amount of legroom compared to other seats, it was enjoyable not having anyone in front of me. I loved having a movable monitor and a size adjustable tray. (Both come from your arm rest). I highly recommend choosing this seat. One problem, all of the seats on this aircraft don't recline a great amount.

Seats in row 25 have reduced foot room due to the in-arm entertainment systems of row 24. The housings for those systems consume several inches of the foot well area.

Back of seat screens have USB outlet that will charge your smartphone

The seats 6D and 6E are preferred seats that cost extra. They do not recline because the flight attendants jump seats are mounted directly behind. They are ok until the person in front reclines their seat. Avoid these seats on the read eye flight.

This is a bulkhead seat right behind first class. Lots of leg room but no floor storage. I just grabbed my small carry on after takeoff with no problem. This is a small plane for a "long haul" but from Boston to Shannon it was 5 hours- not bad and comfortable enough.

There is a power box under seat in front of you which limits your leg room

Sat in 24A the exit door slide takes up almost all the leg room. Do NOT pay extra for this seat you are better off in a regular one.

This seat does not recline and all economy seats are very narrow. Not an enjoyable flight.

Aer Lingus shows the row as emergency row aft of the restrooms. Close, but instead it's a non-reclining row just forward of the lavatories. Comfortable if you're small or have a small neighbor. A pain if the seat in front reclines but s gentle request usually helps. We had the Asian vegetarian special meal and it was very good. Overall, not a bad flight - if sleepless. On the positive side we should have the exit row on our return

Seats were so tight it was uncomfortable for a transatlantic flight. Whenever the person in front reclined I could hardly get out of my seat. Food good service was very good. Biggest problem was seating being too small and too close.

24B is actually the Exit row seat (shown on the plan as row 23) Great amount of legroom allowing you to stretch out during the flight. The seat was a little narrow but didn't cause a problem for myself...a larger size traveler may be uncomfortable. Very close to the toilets on board (3 of) so people do congregate around the area. (Didn't cause too much of a problem but can be busy at certain times) The plane is small for a transatlantic flight and this flight was extremely full with only 1 or 2 seats spare. Food was OK quality (and served quickly) Took a long time to be cleared away though. As this was an exit row you cannot store any belongings at all on the floor or watch the entertainment system during take off or landing. (This didn't bother me but some flyers like to watch the screens for the full flight)

I think this plane is a bit small for transatlantic travel, but it was actually better than I expected. I am not fond of sitting in seats where you can't stow any luggage in front of you, as were these exit row seats, because it's not convenient to retrieve things during travel, and because the seats are slightly narrower due to having the tray tables in the armrest. I would probably try the "more room" seats in row 4 next time. We paid extra for the "upgrade" meal and it was a very generous amount of food (too much, actually!), and very tasty. Would probably do it again for dinner, but I think it's too much food for lunch. Staff was friendly and attentive.
