Reseñas
The bulkhead seats 9 D, E and F on the 787 have extra legroom which is charged for at A$39 for Melbourne/Singapore. The only practical route for passengers in the left aisle to use to visit the toilet is through row 9 which ends up by being a CORRIDOR. Scoot fail to recognise this which means you should reclassify these three seats as BAD because they offer neither privacy or space for 80% of the journey!! Thank you.
I flew Athens to Singapore - about a 11hr fight on 22 September. The seats (my wife was in 35A) were cramped and uncomfortable and we found it difficult to sleep. Otherwise the flight and service was good, food OK.
While this seat is at additional cost and in the silent section, it location next to the toilet is very disturbing due to constant use, and passengers standing awaiting entry. Seats 5-8F should be avoided.
You can not put your luggage underneath of 1A seat because 1A seat leg is located nearly middle of your feet. I could not put my Samsonite rolling tote there. Smaller bag is OK I think.
This review is for seats 34A, B, and C. Despite the other reviews about seat width, I found the seats slightly narrow and firm but not too uncomfortable for a 6-7 hour flight. however it's worth noting that I was sitting next to my slim wife and 9 year old son... if we had been three full size adults it might have been a bigger issue. Also there were no onboard video displays or entertainment, which was a surprise. Service on the flight was good and the crew pleasant and attentive. I would fly this aircraft again, at least on this route.
42DEF does not have limited recline, but i do agree that its near to the vicinity of toilet and aft galley which can be a disturbance.
Leave it to Singapore to offer a first class-caliber "ScootBiz" product on its least-expensive discount carrier that rivals domestic/short-haul FC on virtually every other airline. As a 788, the planes are quite new, with well-designed "biz" seats that allow for ample room but also ample recline. I originally booked a coach seat, but Scoot allows you to "bid" on seats in Biz several days beforehand. I bid the lowest amount possible for my Bangkok-Singapore flight -- 2000 baht, which is roughly US$54 -- and won. Scoot offers free meals in Biz (which are quite tasty), and the only noticeably "cheap" aspect of its F&D service is limiting pax to a single beverage (alcoholic or standard). Biz passengers also get free internet access, which I did not get a chance to sample since I slept most of the way. All seats also offer AC outlets for charging computers and devices. Still, I wouldn't recommend 2F if you can avoid it (I could not since I'd been upgraded). The A-B and H-K seats in Biz offer a modicum more privacy, and the A & K window seats are probably best if you're planning to snooze on a flight.
The seats are very tight
