Lufthansa Seat Maps, Reviews and Planes
The flight was on time and cabin crew were very attentive to passenger needs. However the landing was really bumpy and the pilot messed up the exit from the runway.
I booked my flight on March 20 and I found out that my flight has been canceled that nobody informed me of. Then I rebooked my flight and it got canceled again. Now, the airline says there isn’t anything that they can do. Neither they can give a confirmed ticket. So, I can’t get a refund and also the credits will be available in another 6 months when I have to catch a flight in october. This is trapped situation where you end up booking another flight from another airline and spending another $2000. This is so frustrating that airlines get away with this and nobody is imposing any serious rules about this. Only customers have to suffer and they are robbing blind. Some serious actions need to be taken against them. Please.
The flight was amazing and on time. The cabin crew members took care of the passengers in these difficult times pretty well.
I purchased a seat upgrade for a cross Atlantic flight. My actual ticket was booked through my travel company. As we all know travel was suspended due to COVID. All of my other flights, seat upgrades, trip costs and Even travel insurance premiums were promptly refunded. Lufthansa has basically done nothing but give me the run around for now almost five months. They ask for patience due to COVID. 5 months? In my opinion you just plan to hold onto people’s money and hope they forget about it. 2 months ago they said it was now at there refund processing center. I do not recommend this airline. Cannoteven get a response from customer service.
Very poor customer service. I bought a ticket and couldn’t see it neither in my bookings nor have I received it via email. I tried to contact them multiple times by calling the customer service and emailing them. Unfortunately, no response. I had to go by bus instead of taking the plane. I wouldn’t recomment Lufthansa to anyone.
Worst airline experience ever. I was travelling business class with my 2 kids from Delhi to London during COVID. My 3 suitcases were just a few kg’s up. The ground staff made open all the bags and transfer that Slight excess luggage in 3 bags which as expected were extremely light and charged me around 773 US dollars for all the bags. When I pleaded that my stuff from the suitcases can fit in one bag ( 250 US + tax for 1 bag) they gave me the excuse that if we do it now then I will miss my flight. This is highway robbery, they should have never transferred it in 3 small bags in the first place. I will certainly not recommend anyone to take Lufthansa , they are bunch of thugs sitting out their to cheat the passengers.
Prior to my Lufthansa flight I wanted to use the lounge at Bucharest Airport. The Lounge is open and when booking the ticket couple of days ago on the Lufthansa website there was an advertisement, that lounge use is included in my business class ticket. In front of the lounge at Bucharest is a sign that Lufthansa cancelled contract lounge access. The service agent at the lounge confirmed that with Lufthansa access to the lounge is not possible but I can buy access for a fee. It is not fair of Lufthansa to advertise lounge access but then this is not delivered. There is no indication on the Lufthansa website. Even when calling the Lufthansa service hotline they do not know. But there are numerous reports about frustrated travellers that Lufthansa has cancelled lounge access some weeks ago even when the lounge is open. The flight itself was okay. I find it not okay that we had to take a bus at Munich airport to get to the terminal.
I was scheduled to fly with Lufthansa in July 2020. They cancelled my flight and had no other alternative to offer. I have been waiting for my refund for 45 days which was promised to me after 20 days. All I get are promises. Their email requests our support.
Paris to Beirut via Frankfurt, I was supposed to fly 18th May. Ticket had been cancelled in May 2. After 3 months neither contact from the airline nor refund received. I called them many times and was not able to obtain any information. In the end I got a voucher limited to 12-2020, to be booked before 31-08-2020
One part of our flight from Tanzania to Houston was cancelled which was being operated with Swiss airline together. Okay, that is possible. And then we asked for a refund because we didn't have a lot time to wait for them to agree with another company and they didn't give a specific time. Therefore, we asked for a full refund which was our right according to their policy. They accepted. We asked for the date of the refund, but no answer. We waited more than two months to get the refund. Then, guess what? It was around 60% of the ticket. We called the customer service, they said it was refunded and no mistake. We called a few times more. No solution. After that, we wrote two emails to them stating that we would carry this to a trial, and then in two weeks, we got the full refund the remaining 40%. It is a REAL SHAME what they did to us. It looks like if we hadn't asked them, they wouldn't have given our money back. I always used to think that Germans were the MOST reliable people, however, after this issue I changed my mind unfortunately. Therefore, I would never want come closer to Lufthansa again and I would never recommend it. PAY MORE to ANOTHER COMPANY, but dont have that much headache.
It is not the first bad experience in this company! The food is disgusting, crew unwelcoming and the flight is freezing! My last time there the flight had a water issue in the bathrooms and took more than 5 hours to solve!! I lost my connection flights and completely my pleasure for this company!
Tried to check in online the day before, but their system didn't find the reservation. Tried calling Lufthansa in Finland, Germany and Malta, but nobody picked up the phone. Managed to spend about 30 EUR on calls for nothing. When I called Lufthansa Malta I had waiting music for 18 minutes, then is started ringing. 7 minutes later it just disconnected automatically. Contacted them via their Contact Form as well but still haven't received a reply. This is totally unacceptable! The next day I still travelled to the airport, and the check-in couldn't find the reservation either. They then called Lufthansa and got it sorted. But all that stress and uncertainty!? Lufthansa has had 5 months now to employ more customer support personnel. Money is not a problem as they received a bail-out 9.000 million EUR worth. Will avoid Lufthansa from now on at all cost.
Lufthansa are refusing to give a refund on a flight that was cancelled as the USA banned flights in and out due to Covid 19. I feel this is a total disregard for the circumstances we all find ourselves in. It was clearly not Mr Mxxxs fault he could not fly both out to and back from the USA as planned as the trip started on the day USA closed its boarders due to Covid. Lufthansa are offering a credit note for the return flight booked with them from USA to UK, providing a credit note for Mr Mxxx to fly back from the USA when he is not there is not likely to be there at any point in the future is not an acceptable offering. A credit note to fly to or from any other destination from the UK may be a more acceptable offer which would still need to be available once we are all able to fly confidently to other countries beyond this current Covid 19 situation. Keeping £1,107.30 of a passengers money under the circumstances is in my view nothing short of theft. It was in no way Mr Mxxxx’s fault he was not able to fly and complete his trip at the time. I feel Lufthansa should be far more understanding and accommodating in their offer. Mr Mxxxx did not pay for the ticket that fell to me (Julie Deverill) personally on his behalf, so in reality it would be me who requires the credit note as a minimum. They are saying it will only be issued to the booked passenger. Lufthansa have offered the credit to be use by 31st Aug 2020 is also unrealistic based on the current levels of Covid around the world. They are clearly not an airline that has any interest in their customer service statistics as this situation will score them a big fat ZERO The trip was planned for March but no flight was taken, but have had to select a flight time form following selections.
Lufthansa became a pathetic airline. I've traveled with them quite alot in the past and everything was good. Recently they've cancelled my overseas flight (COVID) and refused to refund the money citing "airline policy". I was given the option to re-book within a year and that came with $600 increase per person additional fee, and $99 change fee. I hope not to use them ever again in the future!
Previously, my luggage was lost with Lufthansa. I thought it was bad luck and this time everything would be ok but it was a big mistake. I wish there are statistics somewhere about which airlines lose luggage the most. I flew Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Istanbul and that was my final flight before getting to Istanbul. One of my luggage did not come out from the conveyor. I got issued a report in Istanbul. It has been 10 days there is no information about my luggage. Worse than that, I can not find anybody to talk to about the situation. United Airlines has a free toll phone number and they were extremely helpful. They said my luggage was scanned and given to Lufthansa. Unfortunately, this was a very similar experience I have had previously. My wife and I had to buy new clothes because we had to join a wedding ceremony. I have been dealing with these last 10 days of my vacation. I will never fly with Lufthansa again.
I was on the morning flight from Slovenia via Frankfurt to Copenhagen. The service and the seats on the plane was as I did expect - on time and with good clear informations, especially in these Corona times. I can only recommend flying with Lufthansa
I was supposed to fly from Gdańsk to Lisbon 18th April. Ticket had been bought in February and cancelled in early March. After 5 months neither contact from the airline nor refund received. I only called them once and were not able to obtain any information.
I travelled from Gdańsk to Nuernberg via FRA. The domestic legs were operated by Lufthansa Express Rail. The flights were performed quite seamless, after check-in issues had been resolved - unable to check-in online although call-center assured everything is correct. The service was poor - single bottle of water was distributed. The airline justifies this as covid 19 precaution, and no inflight magazines as well. The cabin crew average. I like the combinations of plane and train, but the layover length was too long - there were trains prior to mine.
Flights rearranged so that we landed in Munich 3 hours after our connection had left. Do they honestly not see a problem with that? We had to cancel our flights and like so many other lufthansa customers are still waiting for a refund 7 weeks later. The airline is impossible to talk to so I guess I just have to sit and wait. Look at trust pilot..negative review after negative review on tbe way this company has treated its customers. Will never use again.
Nothing to be excited about. Flew from Gdańsk to Nuernberg via FRA. Service cut to one piece of bottled water alegedly due to Cov but in reality as money savings excuse. Online Boarding not possibile due to issue that was confirmed by desk. For another flight that was canceled in March neither refund nor contact from the airline.
