The seat in front 49A and 49C are emergency aisle seats with fixed arm rests and entertainment screen in the side rest. Therefore the seat right behind has to face a multimedia box which halfs your foot space. But the worst part is that the seats 50A & 50C are having no leg room at all. Being above 1.7m will leave you with sore knees and if you have a rude person sitting in front also a seat back in your face.

I flew Y class in this version March 2018 BNE- CAN and return, flew older 200 series CAN-AMS return in between. The newer aircraft to/from Australia was far superior. I am a solid 176cm and 96kg: I must say I agree with others i.e. that these new econ seats by Recaro are far superior to many in earlier A330 and all 787 I have travelled in recently: decent cushioning and the higher pocket design provides superior leg room and comfort. IFF was large and simple; free wifi was a bonus but get in early (limited supply). The free Guangzhou stopover 'hospitality' was fantastic too. I have yet to experience A350 but I can't understand any positive message re 787 compared to this product. 2-4-2 seating (or 2-3-2 at rear) is far better than 3-3-3 on a similar width aircraft. For good value long-haul economy experience I will seek out the newer but slower A330-300's over 787 every time. Perhaps that will change after I experience A350, but I hope the A330 endures.

Fantastic on board service - crew were so polite and courteous. Very little turbulence so slept quite well - also watched a couple of movies - overall a very nice experience - thank you.

The flight was actually pretty good. The seats were very comfortable and larger than I expected. The only complaint that that I have is that the movie selection was actually Pretty weak. You didn't have the normal selection that I would expect from an international flight of 11 hours. I had to end up watching wonder woman This otherwise I would have to watch some Chinese movies Or western movies that I've never heard of. Food was also pretty weak So thank God that I had eaten before jumping in the plane because it looked too Asian for me and I'm not used to that kind of food. The Service was excellent and They made everybody feel very comfortable. This was just an average aisle seat.

Very comfortable seat . Service top quality. Entertainment screen provides top films and plenty of choice. Usb charging points. Everything a person needs for a very comfortable flight thanks china southern air

seats are the best part the food is inedible even on business !!!!! they need a western food consultant !!! I have to take my own food on every flight also the only wine offered in white is a chardonnay- I would think in business you had another choice ! Very disappointing on every flight never changes

Can't comment on economy but Business Class seat was outstanding. 2-2-2 configuration but great flat bed and screens. The tray was one of the best I've seen - had a little tab that enabled it to swivel 90 degrees so you could easily get in and out. Great footrest and storage. AVOD seemed to have 20-30 movies in english with Chinese subtitles including many recent releases. Power port worked great - had a mini power strip and was able to run Macbook, ipad and iphone to full charge. Catering out of CAN wasn't the best but was passible.

If you have a choice please do not use this airplane or even airline. checking in and selecting a seat was a nightmare!!there is NO personal T.V only airline selected movies (chinese)on 3 small screens high above the seats at the front of the cabin with very bad quailty sound. also very little choice on foods and drinks. beer, wine and some food finished after only 3-4 hours after leaving. this has been the same on all 3 times i have flown with this sub-standard airline with K.L.M prices.choose K.L.M or A/F if you can far far better i promise you.
