Possibly not the best seat for people with broad shoulders or people who are a little wider than most. This seat is next to one of the columns in between two windows which causes you to lose some 1-2 inches of shoulder space.

Decent leg room for a bulkhead

This seat is much worse than "bothersome" due to proximity to lavatory. Between the full view of the interior of lavatory as passengers enter and exit, there is countless times you get bumped by hips or backsides of passengers trying to navigate others in the aisle. Horrible

I was not psyched to take this flight after reading all the bad reviews but it wasn't half bad. It was a newer plane and reconfigured lavatory that i think is better, smarter but smaller. If you are over 300 lbs I suggest you hold it until you land or bring crisco for the rescue squad to help pry you out. The seats only recline a tad but the headrest folds inward for better comfort when snoozing. Food was not bad--fresh fruit, greek yogurt all tasty. Waffle was crisp (good) but had some gelatinous blueberry stuff on top (icky sweet). My biggest complaint is the seat padding which i think they forgot to add or maybe some engineer decided to "lean out" the seat. Bad decision.

All hyperbole aside, this is the most uncomfortable commercial jet I've ever flown on. I got directly off this plane and onto a CRJ200 and had more room on the CRJ. Knees rammed into the seat in front of me with no slouching. Had to contort my body in order to reach something when it fell on the floor because the seat back was so close to my face. Will absolutely add in the price of economy plus on all future potential United flight purchases.

This sear was torture! The immovable neck pillow pushed my head forward and down. I could not straighten out my neck. I never want to get on that plane again!!! They neat to remove those seats and start over.

I'm not sure which version of this plane I had so I will post this review for all of them. I agree that this plane has very cramped seating in Economy both in seat width and pitch and the plastic seats are not very comfortable. Mine barely reclined. In addition, the wifi was not working and the free video entertainment was not compatible with my particular Android device, a Google Nexus 7 running Android 5.1. Overall not a very good experience and I will avoid this plane in the future if at all possible.

Narrow, uncomfortable seat. Seat material, whatever it is, doesnt breathe. Arm rests hard plastic. Very little air from seat vents. "Entertainment" consisted of movies and TV shows no onw wants to see. Delta planes and inflight entertainment much much better.

Lavatory door opens outward, hitting anyone in aisle waiting to use it next. To avoid being struck by the door, they lean over seat 7D or lean into the curtain separating Economy from First.

Flying from Lax-honolulu on a 737 in first class. The flight started off with the staff giving warm towels. They were freindly for a 5 1/2 hr flight. Later into the flight dinner was served. I got the cheese lasagne for the main course. It was a full dinner where they gave silverware a packets of sauces. The seats were comfy and spaced out (for me im 16). It got rough as we aproached hawaii. Direct tv does not work over the ocean so there were 8 movies like zootopia, junglebook,and deadpool.

Horrible -- does not recline. Deserves red. Toilets are so small even a 5'10", 190 lbs. person has trouble using them Only junk food in first class. Disgusting.

Very tight seats, not much legroom; unconfortable for 4h flight (EWR-CUN). Direct TV is expensive, this service should be complimentary. Food only for purchase. I thonk that it is in the same level as AA, unfortunately, for this type of flights.

Here's the opinion from a non-whiner. Upgraded economy. Knee space? Plenty. Cant stretch out my legs (5'8") but its still not bad. Not sure how the seats behind me are but overall, I have no conplaints.
