Reviews
Fantastic seat unbelievable amount of room and I am 6 foot three.
Incredibly comfortable seat, huge improvement on older A380 seats. Slept for over 8 hours on this flight. Felt more like first class than business.
The last three rows of premium economy (38/39/40) on the reconfigured Qantas A380 are where the aircraft starts to narrow slightly; so the window seats (like 39K) don’t have as much headroom as the rows in front, or the handy storage bins beside the arm of the chair.
Layout 2 of the A380 is bad news for economy fliers. With the upstairs economy section now turned into premium economy, the downstairs economy seats are completely packed. Air staff are inattentive. The back of the plane tends to be packed with children. I used to prioritise the A380 for the upstairs economy section, but now I see no advantage to this plane over other airlines.
