The curtain between Business and Eco is flexible and might be located behind row 4 till behind row 16. In the new A321neo the seats from row 1 to 16 are no Business Class seats but Eco seats with additional recline. Based on demand for Business Class there is the chance to also get a more-reclining seat in Eco in the first rows.
Horrible business class. Barely premium economy. Plane is ratty looking, uncomfortably firm seats, and economy seat legroom. Lufthansa is ripping people off with this.
Would never pay for a business seat on this aircraft. Sat in economy and the only difference was the meal service.The seats are exactly the same except in business the middle seat is unoccupied.Economy seats are extremely cramped and the meal was like a frozen TV dimmer.
Really it is not a business class. I am very upset from the seat and sure it is last time for me unless airplanes type are changed
This is a comfortable plane for European travel. It is now equipped with the thinner NEK (Neue Europa Kabine) seats. For European routes, however, they offer good comfort and leg room. While the pitch is reduced to 30 inches, the clever redesign of the seat allows for tall blokes like me to sit comfortably. Service was crisp yet friendly on board with a hot lunch being served, some tortellini.
Lufthansa's new concept of blocking off the middle seat in business reminds me of Canadian Airlines -- twenty years ago. Certainly this does give you a bit more room to maneuver, work on the laptop, read a paper. But it doesn't make up for the fact that you have no more room for your legs than the person at the back of the plane. In fact, pax in row 24 have much more room than business class passengers. I hope that European carriers will "catch the wave" and give their premium customers a few more inches of breathing room in the future.
