2/4/2020, asiento 7D

Avoid any middle row seats in aisles 7 and 8. There is a ceiling vent that blasts cold air from the galley above these two rows and the crew cannot turn it off. I was freezing during an 11 hour flight. They brought me extra blankets to wrap around my neck and chest but my nose was icy cold the whole trip. The crew was all aware of it. Avoid these seats. Horrible design flaw on this aircraft and a very expensive Polaris ticket.

Full Polaris experience is excellent, from entertainment to lie-flat seating, to meal service. Completely lucked out with this equipment on IAH-EWR (originated in NRT); Easy to board with dual jetways, one at front of plane-- however not as easy to deplane with a single jetway between rows 8-9, as was the case in EWR. Even though is directly across from 2D, privacy is still maintained (can see legs of other passenger and screen). Definitely a recommend.

Polaris Business Class on this plane is great and quite comfortable - a huge improvement over the old configuration. Odd numbered seats have more privacy but all seats are good and comfortable. Note that row 7 has a misaligned/missing window

12/18/2019, asiento 41E

41E and 41F have the rare feature of a retractable arm rest between them, despite being bulkhead seats. This is because 41E has a tray table in the left armrest, and 41F has a tray table in the right armrest, and the IFE systems for both are on arms that fold down beneath the seat. For couples traveling together, or if you happen to get one of these seats with the adjacent seat empty, it is amazing.

This seat has nearly unlimited leg room due to the alignment of the bulkhead, aisle and lavatory. I was was able to stretch my legs out completely without risking tripping anyone. One negative to this alignment though is that the trolley cart and passengers tend to bump the seat as they are moving toward the rear of the plane. The inflight entertainment system is not located on the bulkhead, but rather is on an arm that folds away below the seat (not built in to the armrest, only the tray table is built into the armrest). There is a monitor on the bulk but it is only used for the pre-flight video.

Flew this Premium Plus Aisle seat from SFO-FRA. The seat was comfortable enough, but I think it sits higher than regular economy seats, so even at 6'3", I ended up using the footrest quite a bit which limits your ability to really stretch out because you can't touch the floor. The bigger HD monitor and huge video selection were both great and the extra width was nice over the shrunken economy seats but the seat felt oddly confining due to their overall size. I slept OK but would have probably been better off grabbing an entire center section in economy (4 total seats now) to sleep on this all-nighter. So in a perfect world, use this seat for the service, food and watching movies, but sneak back to coach for extended sleeping if you can grab an entire row to stretch out. I actually preferred UAL's old economy plus seats which were only slightly narrower, but you could really stretch out (especially with no one next to you). I didn't pay full price for the seat so I'm not sure if the regular cost is worth the money but overall I enjoyed it.

What an awesome Polaris Business class seat! I flew in a UAL 767 Polaris seat last year for the 1st time and thought the seat was a bit confining and narrow (but very comfortable). The extra 1.5" seat width found in the bigger 777 along with a bigger foot well in the bulkhead seats plus the window seat position makes for an incredibly luxurious, private and enjoyable flying experience. I'm not sure how anyone could complain about these. The food was top-notch, HD TV monitor and video selection were both great and even the flight attendants (most of them anyway) were friendly. Can't wait to fly on this plane again in the future. Now I understand what the fuss was about...

Great seat. The last row in business class so there is no traffic. It's a window bulkhead seat, so there seems be additional space. 3 windows. When lying flat, I had plenty of room to stretch out completely (I'm 6'1). I think it's probably one of the best seats in Polaris.

Best seats in economy. Angled out group of 2 seats with full recline. You get an extra seat to store items beneath if traveling with a companion, never bothered by the cart and 2 windows.

Actually the seat was close to the toilet asa well as the galley, but quite comfortable & quiet.

10/22/2019, asiento 20G

I was worried that 20G might stick out in to the aisle a bit due to the transition from the business to the premium plus cabin, but this was not the case. I actually had more leg room because I could stretch my legs into the space behind 12G without risking tripping anyone. When the curtain is drawn, people tend to walk closer to 20K than 20G making 20G a better choice. Having sat in 20K, 22G and 22D, I would say that 20G is my seat of choice due to the extra room and because you dont have to get up to let the passenger in 20F by.

While you have a wider seat than in economy, when the passenger in the row in front of you reclines their seat, you loose at lot of space. It makes for a awkward situation if you need to get up, you literally have to roll out of the seat. This is a bad design decision on the part of United. If you are seated in Premium Plus be in the first row.

My wife and I are definitely enjoying these paired seats on the back of the B777 series. Being an overnight flight, didn't feel the bathroom traffic was too bad. Galley noise might be a concern for some. but didn't bother my napping. the seat back entertainment system had no issues, plenty of movie and TV choices.

Caution on the location of this seat. While this is one of the (great) new Premium Plus seats, because the last row on either side is farther back than the middle row, this seat (and 22B) are almost in the economy section, overlapping the space taken up by row 30 in Econ. I will choose 20 or 21 in the future.

This seat was frequently bumped by the food and beverage cart when the attendants moved between the Premium Plus cabin and Economy Plus. Premium Plus has 2 seats on the side vs. 3 seats on the side in Economy Plus, so the aisle position. Plus, the aisle in Economy is narrower because it is now 10 seats across instead of 9.
