I have flown this plane over 100 times, this seat is a little colder but lots of leg room, because of the missing window, there is a panel to rest your head on allowing you to sleep easily. This is my favourite seat on this plane

The seat was comfortable but the seat belt had very little slack. I'm not a big person but I was barely able to buckle the seat belt. Good seat as I wasn't near the engine

Thank goodness my flight from Windsor YQG to Toronto YYZ was only 40 minutes long. I have never been more uncomfortable on a plane. Seat 7A is right beside the turbo prop and is EXTREMELY noisy. Also, this plane has very limited leg room, seat width and the overhead is so small that even a conforming 19 inch carry on bag must be crammed in. This Q400 airplane felt like a flying cigar tube! i won't be flying on another one of these things.

Seat 3A is a Preferred Seat with extra legroom

This seat is fine. But the airplane's bathroom doesn't have a sink -- only a bottle of hand sanitizer. Try to limit fluids while on this plane!

Terrible leg room on this plane, limited storage for baggage. Needed to store my carry on under my feet which did not fit under the seat. Had to sit for a 2 hour flight with my feet on the carry on.

The front of the Q-400 is the noisiest, VERY noisy. The leather seat has excellent legroom, but is hard as a rock. Luggage racks are small. No gate-check for bags, unlike Dash 8-100 and 300 series aircraft.

Extra leg room, tray in arm rest so middle arm rest does not lift up. No window due to location of emergency exit.

First of all, watch out in bumping your head on the luggage compartment. I did, and so did a few others. Seats are narrow and short pitch, it's amazing how just an inch narrower and shorter made so much difference in feel. Luggage compartment is also shallow and seems to be no more than 16 inches deep. The usual maximal size allowed by Air Canada ,i.e. 21 inch by 15.5 by 9 will probably not fit.

This is an exit row seat. It has a tiny right arm rest. The window is not in the normal place. And there is reduced foot room (floorspace) due to the curved exit door that juts out into tour foot area.

You won't see much out of this window thanks to the back of fhe engine but it's perfectly acceptable for a short haul flight. The sests are perfectly comfortable.

Very good aircraft for short haul flights. Great seats noise level is very good in the q400. Leg room is decent. i would definitely recommend this aircraft. Rate a 9/10

Great aircraft for short haul. Fast, decent comfort, roomier cabin than a CRJ, good sized, well placed windows.

Engine are loud, but that's normal. If you near the engines, vibration can be bothering. Overall, it's a good small plane for short trip.

Okay plane. Pretty noisy compared to most other aircraft but nothing unbearable. I'm on the plane on a weekly basis. Seats are decent -- legroom is what you would expect. No Tvs or anything fancy. Sit forward of the engines for a more quiet flight. Props are located at row 7. Each seat has 2 big windows that are well placed at head level. Sitting rows 9-14 your view will be nill due to the engines.
